I had a lodge room on the second floor, which had a great view of the water on one side, and a view of the cabins and boat ramp on the other. I am actually unsure whether the room had air conditioning, but the heater worked very well. It had a very small television that required one to sit very...

Room and food were horribly overpriced. Family owned business with one bright spot - the daughter was very nice, though distracted and forgetful. We had to ask for towels four times before we finally got them, and then only because my husband refused to leave the front desk without them. We were told by the sweet daughter (her name escapes...

The website does not do this location justice. Yes it is used by individuals for fishing and hunting but it is more. Our room was fantastic, great décor, spacious bath, clean, good sleep quality and a great view from our window. The staff are the owners and take great pride in their property. The restaurant services a good variety of...

The long labor day weekend opened up on our calendars so we took advantage of an opening at Sandy Point. We arrived at check-in time and the cabin was ready to go. Unpacked and the boat was wet within the hour. Resort is nice and easily accessible off Hwy 53. The weather was spotty, but Sandy Point can control that...

This resort has direct access to the snowmobile trails of the area, super friendly staff, great food, and a laid back atmosphere. Our group of 8 was well accommodated. Of note, bath towels are not provided in cabins so you may want to pack some.

We needed a place to stay for one night, and were in the Lake Kabetogama area without a plan. We came across the Sandy Point Lodge, and were able to get a cabin for one night. The dinner and breakfast we had there were excellent. The hosts were great. The marina-hands were very helpful.

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay weather you are renting a cabin or a hotel room. Very clean. The food served is amazing. We love both Jen and Gordy. We have stayed there during the winter and have rented hotel rooms, which Jen has made the quilts by hand on the beds. We have also rented the cabins...

A buddy and I stayed for a weekend this winter and went snowmobiling. The staff was very friendly, the room clean, and the food was outstanding. We'll definitely be back next year for another great time on the snow!
