The staff is Awesome. They’re friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean. There is a stove, fridge and some pots and pans. The place is beautiful and the lake is amazing. We had a great time and I’d highly recommend it and would love to go back.
Harmony Beach is a really nice property run by excellent hosts. We got exactly what we hoped for and had no disappointments. The property was clean and well maintained and Jeff and Sheri could not have been nicer. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was carefree and provided recommendations for a Voyageurs tour (book in advance) and for local restaurants.
This was our first time at the resort. Nothing but good to say. The owners were wonderful the whole time. You could not ask for more from the dock guys. Always kind and there to help!! Our cabin was very clean and all you could ask for. It was great. Thank you to all. Bill and Kathleen Sicard
I've been to dozens of resorts both in Ontario, Wisconsin and Minnesota in my 60 yrs. This is far and away the best. The dock men are outstanding. Help you dock and leave, clean, label and bag your fish. The owners are helpful and friendly. The cabins are stocked with everything from a pizza cutter to ice cube trays to floor fans. And clean...very clean. Bait on site. We were in the Balsam cabin. Deck, patio furniture, over looking the lake. You'll have no problem eating fish most everyday. And if not, there is the Rocky Ledge bar just down the road-excellent food. We already booked for next year.
Excellent owners! Great service by the dock guys. Very clean cabins. Great amenities- boat and pontoon rentals. Kayaks. Beach. Great new harbor and deck. Kids playground with basketball court up the hill. Boat launch at the visitor center less than a mile away.
My brother-in-law, Mike, and I continue the tradition of his family's annual fishing trip to Harmony Beach (over 50 years). In the past, we have stayed in the cabins and the villas. This year we stayed in the lodge. The accommodations have always been good, but they have vastly improved and are noticeably better since Jeff and Sheri Krueger purchased the resort a number of years ago, and updated the cabins. All of the living areas are very clean and well equipped. Jeff and Sheri offer a variety of boats. Mike and I are there at the end of the season in September, and the boats are clean and the outboards and trolling motors are still in excellent condition. Mike and like to cast all along the rocks and in the bays all over the lake fishing for Northern and small mount bass, although, we accidentally catch the occasional walleye. We mostly catch and release, but keep enough for dinner and a little to take home. When we come in at the end of the day, Jeff or his dock assistant, take our fish, and 15 minutes later deliver clean and boneless filets. The Northern This year’s fishing was phenomenal. We caught a lot of fish every day from relatively small to quite large. Harmony Beach Resorts is absolutely the best deal on Lake Kabetogama.…
Stayed in a cabin that was perfect with all the amenities right on the water! The cabin as well as the entire resort was very well maintained and clean. Even though we weren't fishing, we watched the dock service every morning and evening...and it was over the top! Jeff, the owner was always there with a smile. We rented a boat for a day from them and it also was perfect! Thanks for the hospitality Jeff and Sheri!
We just ended our first visit to the Harmony Beach Resort and couldn't have had a better time. The lake is beautiful! We enjoyed our days fishing and exploring the lake. We stayed in a cabin right on the water. It had everything we needed. What really made our stay enjoyable, though, was the people. Owners Jeff and Shari were very welcoming. The dock guys, Nolan and Chandler, were very personable and efficient. When we go to a new vacation spot, one of the things we hope to find is a place where we can relax and meet new people. Harmony Beach exceeded our expectations. We cant wait to come back next year!
This small family owned resort is on the shores of Lake Kabetogama; this area which abuts Voyaguers National Park is primarily a fishing destination but even if you don't fish (I don't) it's a relaxing getaway place. There are several types and sizes of accommodation available. Since I was traveling alone I had a small cabin, the Bear Paw which I estimate to be about 10 x 20 feet. However it was perfectly outfitted, newly remodeled, and spotlessly clean. It was also right on the water. Other cabins are larger and there are villas (apartments) available as well as a single large house that can accommodate up to 20 people. Some campsites are also available if you happen to be traveling in an RV. Boats are available for rental and for fishermen, they will clean your fish for free. It's a beautiful location and although the cabins are close together it's heavily treed and I never felt I was in a crowd. It wasn't noisy either. This is a family place and the loudest noise was the playing of children. For local fun you can hike, pick blueberries, or take some of the boat tours. The 5.5 hour boat tour to Kettle Falls is done by the National Park people for the bargain rate of $40.00 and is not to be missed (make reservations early). There are other boat rides available and Harmony has a water trampoline which kids really enjoyed. Finally, the owners are super nice people. Sherry, the wife, I don't believe ever met a stranger and always asked about my day. I stayed five days total and was very sorry to leave. If you love lakes, fishing, solitude, nature, friendly people, this is the place for your next vacation. I'm already planning when I can go again.…
It was our first time to Voyageurs National Park. My wife and I stayed in the Otter Cabin the first week of June for our vacation. Everything about our stay was excellent! Jeff and Shari were amazing hosts and took care of all of our needs. The cabin was clean, so, cute, warm and comfortable and the view of the lake was spectacular. They really bend over backwards to see that your stay is the best. Spent a wonderful week fishing and relaxing in one of the most beautiful spots in the country. Best part is you don't even have to clean your own fish! Chandler and Nolan are fillet masters, no lie! They take care of your boat and keep you on the water and having fun. Can't wait to go back again next year!
