Deplorable rooms, Smelly stained carpets, cigarette burns on broken down furniture, black mold in bathroom, rusted kitchenette appliances, seedy people sitting in stairways smoking pot / drinking beer sharing same rooms, looks like a crack den / prostitution hotel. During check out other couples were arguing with manager regarding room condition Managers Response: sorry its an old and very neglected property. Extended Stay America should be "ASHAMED" for allowing their name to be used on such a run down property that has so many bad comment all over the web. After a long trip in the Dominican Republic I went to visit a friend in Brandon, Florida and came across the Extended Stay America as a cheap alternative instead of staying on my friends couch. Upon check-in the Front Desk agent Brianna (who was super friendly) check me in quick and easy. We were given a first room. And once I got in I checked around to see how the room was (I’m in the hotel industry myself so I know what to check for). First thing I noticed was, the sink in the bathroom was filthy along with the tub! I went back to the desk and Brianna apologized and offered me another room. Once I into the second room. I noticed it was WAAAAY better. But as I went to check the bed, there was a bed but just hanging around. I immediately went back and told the desk about it and checked out. The only good thing about this place was Brianna who felt bad for me and was super apologetic. I’d advise anyone who stays here to NOT stay here! The LaQuinta right next door is pricier but well worth it! Nice clean rooms and friendly staff with a nice breakfast!!! I have added pictures of what I found... 😖😖😖😖😖

We drove over from Orlando for the night as we had an early pick up time for our kids from camp off Horace. It was just a place to lay our heads so it served its purpose. Beds were clean but there were bugs through out the room. No dishes as it is an extended stay so you provide your own which again was fine for us bc we just needed to sleep. Decent location but it is next to the highway so its noisy. I would stay here again if I needed to for a few hrs sleep.

Unclean, nice yet unprofessional staff, saw a roach in the room, room smelled Like smoke and funk, I should have read the TA reviews before books. Do not stay here pay the extra money and stay at the hotel next door!

Booked a reservation through Expedia at 9 p.m. the day of. I was on a long drive and needed a place last minute. I arrived at the hotel in the early morning (3am) I was told that they counted me as a "no show" and that my room was "unavailable" and I couldn't be refunded my $100+ booking. I've never encountered a policy like this. Considering how late I made my reservation you would think there would be some type of warning that I had to be there by a certain hour. To top it off, the front desk representative showed little care that I was now out of luck for a place to sleep. I will never book with an Extended Stay ever again, and will do everything I can to keep other people from doing the same.
