Great motel! My family stayed here 12yrs ago and its still charming. It us centrally located to everything. You can walk to the beach, the restaurants, or gift shops. It's the perfect little getaway spot,if you're looking for a quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle.

This is the second time I have stayed at this motel. It is very quaint. The location is awesome. Close to beach, restaurants and bars. All walking distance. If you want to go further you can take the free trolley. The rooms are decorated so nicely and very clean. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous.

We spent 1 night at Pelican Post and I wish it would have been much longer. Next time it will be. This was a "staycation" for us and we couldn't have picked a more wonderful place to spend the night. It is truly an "old" Florida motel in the nicest sense of the word. It is so well kept and...

What a delight this place is. It's your old style motel within blocks of everything. Souvenir shopping, the beach, restaurants, a post office, a convenience store... all within a few minutes walk. The King Studio unit was spacious and clean. Pretty much had a full kitchen, a sofa, bed, small TV, and a dining table and chairs. Bed was comfy,...

This place s my ideal "Florida " type place. The owners are awesome. The setting is beautiful. It is close to so much to do. Keep in mind if you want a plush 5 star hotel this might not be the place for you. But if you want a clean, well maintained convenient location, this is the place.

Love this motel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the ladies in the office ate amazing. The Pier and little town with stores and pubs is an extra treat. The beach is across the street (bring an umbrella for shade). Being here 3 times and will return.

Nice motel, close to bars and beach. Clean rooms. No bathroom amenities, and cleaning is every other day, so keep that in mind, but it seems to be the norm in the area. A/C is window unit and loud, but works just fine. We would stay at this hotel again if we ever go back to Anna Maria.

My parents, husband and I stayed overnight in the suite during Aug 16 and we absolutely loved the place. From beginning to end we enjoyed every second of our stay. Communication was excellent, I had many little questions before our arrival and was replied to fully and quickly. Very easy to find, great location near to beach, restaurants and shops....

We stayed at the Pelican Post over the Labor Day weekend. Wha the place has going for it: location, that's about it. Beyond that, at $145 a night, the place is ridiculously overpriced given what they offer. By this I mean vile, dirty rugs that at the very least should be thrown out. I am not a neatness freak, but...

I discovered this place after our reservations "couldn't be found" and "were now fully booked" at another beachside hotel, and to be honest I'm glad we stayed here instead! When we arrived, we went to check in and were told that they upgraded our room to a suite, however it wouldn't be ready for 45 minutes, even though we came...
