I'm satisfied. Great location. Clean room, but not perfect. I'm 66 and alone and smoke, so I keep going outside (I don't smoke inside at home) and I haven't felt threatened. I don't think its sketchy. Check-in was easy. Parking away from room is different. Looks like I got lucky with my room!

It smell & housekeeper is disrespectful & hogs the deposit money & didn’t even clean my room either, how ungrateful housekeeper. It’s been over a week and they still haven’t given me my deposit back. There no breakfast included either so don’t expect for any.

The Holiday Inn Express Boynton Beach has a great location right off the exit ramp of Route 95. The front desk staff is wonderful, friendly, informative and helpful. The new front area check in desk, breakfast room, business center, and health facility is in a new building that is bright, beautiful and well maintained. Unfortunately this is a separate building from where the guest rooms are located.

Bedrooms and suites are in a second building that is not attached to the newer check in building. One must go outside to get the guest rooms. Unfortunately this building is much older and not recently renovated. It is dark and damp and has a musty smell to it. Carpets in the hallways seem old and stained and walking down the hall made me feel uneasy.

The rooms are not much better than the hallways. I was placed in room 125 which was dark with poor lighting. The room seemed below grade with a window at shoulder level that looked out over a chain link fence overgrown with bushes. I could not see past the fence that was less than 5 feet from the window thus giving me a prison-like, claustrophobic effect. The air conditioner was below the window but did a more than adequate job of keeping the room cool in over 90 degree weather. It might have helped that the window faced north.

The room was also poorly laid out with little access to electrical outlets. The desk was too small and the lamp offered poor lighting as did all the lamps within the room. The room was always dark even with all lighting working. The bathroom was of equally poor design with a long narrow counter and no good place to put a towel to access after showering. The bed seemed old and was very soft and uncomfortable.

The TV was an old style unit and was not flat screen nor high definition. There was a good selection of stations but the reception and picture was poor. Overall I found nothing that seemed to keep with the high standards I have generally found when staying at Holiday Inn Express facilities around the country.

The most serious problem I encountered was black ants. At first I saw a few on the bathroom counter and called the front desk. I was told that the room would be sprayed the following morning. Later I found the ants all over the room.

Based on the above, although I had checked in planning to stay a full week,I checked out the next day. I was not questioned why I was leaving early. Unless this hotel is completely renovated I will find other accommodations when staying in the area in the future.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! This place should be condemned! Booked through Expedia, no sites should be advertising this place. The pictures are either fake or at least 30 years old. Room was filthy and smelled. They offered me 2 other rooms and when I checked them out they were worse. One room half the lights weren't working and the other had a strong chemical smell. Went back to the original room, saw 2 cockroaches and left. I spent 15 minutes at this dump and they would not provide refund. Said I had to contact Expedia since it was booked through them. They keep giving Expedia other excuses of why not to refund. I brought my mother to Florida for my aunts funeral. This hotel situation made everything worse. I went about a mile and a half away to a Hampton and it was clean, beautiful, and everyone was pleasant. This hotel should not be allowed to operate or at least not be allowed to lie with their fake pictures. Also they do not state anywhere that the pool is not operational. When my kids were small we went to a hotel where the pool was closed for maintenance and they gave us full refund based on the fact that they advertised a pool and did not state it was closed. Stay away from this hotel.

Worst hotel ever. Reeked of weed. Felt like skid row. Moldy, room in bad shape. Bed was dilapidated and unusable. Zero pride in ownership. Even the planters near the pool were broken. Front desk clerk was rude and dismissive even before we saw our room. Later, refused to talk to us when we politely complained. We walked out and we got in touch with hotels.com whom we booked it with. They were unable to get our money back because we prepaid. We are utterly disgusted with the hotel and are very disappointed that hotels.com was unable to get our money back. So, we want other readers to be forewarned and not lose their money. Please DON’T GO.

I purchased two rooms for my employees for some local night work without inspecting the rooms prior. Upon the employees arrival at the hotel, the room was extremely dirty with hair balls, used Q-tips, used Kleenex, and blood stains on seats. We immediately checked out and the following day attempted to rectify the situation with the hotel management and was immediately discarded and discredited for our allegations, this hotel is 1000% a scam hotel and not sanitary for any living being on the planet. Beware for your health and your safety this is not some place Any sane person should ever stay

I booked through Priceline which I will never use again. My flight to Miami was canceled due to no fault of my own. The weather was terrible so all flights on April 3, 2022 were canceled. I called the hotel to make them aware that I needed to cancel because of the flight and they flat refused to give me a refund claiming that I was a no show. I wasn't scheduled to arrive at the hotel until 5 PM and Check-in isn't until 3 so my call was at about 1:30 on the same day. I also called I called the hotel and was placed on hold for 15 minutes. I hung up and called and the phone just rung. When someone finally answered they were rude and inconsiderate coupled with the worst customer service skills ever. I learned two valuable lessons. First, do not use Priceline, and secondly, stay at a hotel with a reputation for good service. Oh yeah, book with the hotel. It may cost more but they will gladly work with you when the circumstances are beyond your control.

Social distancing=100%. Stale cigarette smell permeating from every corner as you went into main area to enter room=100%. Smoke detector in room in pieces=100%. Front desk said would charge 25 extra with cc card, 100 extra with cash if you smoked in room?!? How did they know it's not the other guests that were smoking in the halls? Dripping air conditioner unit from upstairs kept steady noise dripping onto our unit outside sealed windows so we couldn't divert issue. We drowned out that noise by blasting our air conditioner. We were so tired, we didn't have the energy to try to find something else. You can hear every door open and close on the floor all through the night. It was all last minute but, as we learned, minutes count. Quite dissatisfied. Did not take up issues with front desk since it was just a place to stop driving for a little while. Left early.

Awful!!!. Got a lecture while checking in about no smoking. Get into my room and it smells like cigarettes. Only one out of the three bathroom lights worked. The door to the room was jammed and I had to force my way in every time. There was a blood stain on one of the pillowcases. The water for the shower was lukewarm at best. Bed was never made during my stay, the bathroom floor was filthy and there was a strange message that appeared on the bathroom mirror every time I took a shower.

I'm nearly 60 years old and have stayed in hundreds of hotels in my life, but The Inn At Boynton Beach is BY FAR the WORST. It is filthy. The staff is rude and incompetent. The facilities are health hazards. When I checked out, it appeared that working women were collecting the $100 cash room deposits that their customers had left the night before. I have included several photos that show how this place is not only a health hazard, but it is also in violation of numerous Florida hotel statutes. It should be closed immediately, and the owners should be fined to the maximum extent of the law.

Thank you for your feedback on your experience. With any hotel we can not get better unless we hear from the voice of the customer. We take pride in providing great service, great amenities at a reasonable price. I do apologize for the experience faced and working towards upgrading and updating the property. We strive to exceed our guest expectations and hope we can earn your business in the future. Also, guests do collect security deposits when they pay cash for their stay. Dear traveler: Please see my review of this so called hotel. It is nowhere near a beach! I would not stay there if it was free. Possibly, not even if they offered me money to stay there! Please accept my advice and find any other place to stay. I used Hotwire to book my reservation. The fact that they sent me to this dump was enough for me to never use them again. I had a 3:00pm check in, called Hotwire at noon to tell them I wouldn't let my dog stay there. They offered me no assistance or alternative place to stay. They would not refund my money even though I told them I wouldn't let my dog stay there. It is in a high crime area, full of transients, and a danger to any decent family looking to enjoy a vacation together. I hope you believe me. If you didn't you will if you are unfortunate enough to check into this horrible place. Take lots of air freshner, and put on blinders. Sincerely, Harry
