Can't say enough great things about this place. Room was excellent, pool was great, view was tremendous. Restaurant/bar was wonderful. Joe(female) and Mike the bartender were awesome. Colleen and Maureen at the front desk were so nice. I can't remember the owners name and the hostess, they were so nice too. I even made friends with the Russian gardener. He... More

We decided to go to Tarpon Inn by boat. We have never been inside before. WOW. An Inn from late 1800's, all done up in white. Looks like something from Fantasy Island. They have rooms to rent and a pool and a beautiful view of the water. We went for lunch. Joel, our server, was gracious and informative about the... More

It was a wonderful surprise to find this restaurant, like going back in time to 1926 when it was. built. It's in excellent condition, so it must have been restored, but restored with history in mind. We ordered the spinach salad with grilled shrimp. Everything was excellent! The service, the ambiance and the food! Next time we visit, we would... More

This property is often confused with the Tarpon Lodge and Restaurant in Bokeelia, on Pine Island. We live on Pine Island and I have been in this beautiful property when it was the Bokeelia Tarpon Inn, but after selling in June of 2012, it is now called the Lahser House in Bokeelia. The new owners have remodeled the 1914 built... More

My friend & I ate here last week. The restaurant was nearly empty and we weren't sure it was even open. As we entered the restaurant we were greeted by 2 cheery waitstaff. They were happy to seat us and take our order. We ordered a shrimp plate and a mixed grill with shrimp, scallops & fish. We also had... More

We planned to head to a restuarant that was recommended in Matlache, Florida, but when we got there it was very crowded and not what we were in the mood for on a Sunday afternoon. I suggested we drive onto Pine Island and head to Bokeelia to see what we can find; which is exactly what we did. Bokeelia is... More

This bed and breakfast Inn is a hidden jewel off-the-beaten-path on Pine Island in Florida. It is nestled in a lush garden setting just across the road from the ocean. It has elegant Old Florida charm. The owners are friendly and accommodating. The food is wonderful. Service is stellar. The 2nd floor screened porch with its lovely wicker furniture is... More

This B&B is just the place to unwind, relax, and re-charge. The building is a beautifully restored historic home directly across from the bay. For me, the "don't miss" feature is the upstairs (shared) screened porch. Somehow that doesn't do it justice though -- large, well-furnished with cushioned wicker/rattan, water view, high in the palm trees, perfect for a book... More
