Stay away from this motel until it becomes a hotel again after the renovation. No restaurant, shabby half-assembled bar area and overall this hotel is terrible for a Marriott property. Save yourself the pain and go to the Marriott across the street for a little extra cash. The staff are nice but that far from compensates for the high price and low quality experience. I paid $266 a night for what was equivalent to a $67 a night Motel 6 experience.
The location is under construction so the restaurant, pool and patio, lounge and other amenities are limited or non-existent. The hotel is very dated and way past the time to renovate and they are not updating the rooms in this current overhaul which is unfortunate- seems like a trip back in time to the 70's. This location is also in a business park and not walking friendly. Would not recommend staying her when other Marriott properties are available nearby. The positive of the weekend was the friendly and helpful front desk staff as well as attentive and daily housekeeping.
Very comfortable clean large room,Your staff is very friendly. beautiful pool to relax and share a good cocktail with friends.very convenient location for beach and shopping...I would definitely spend a weekend in this wonderful place again...🤗🤗🤗
Medication was removed from my room when it was cleaned. Very frustrated by the lack of responsiveness. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was informed there was no manager. We will not be staying there again.
The Renaissance was a big surprise! Cynthia made my trip! Anything from helping me find an ideal room, making sure it is cleaned on time, and always with a big smile! Janelle was also very nice and helpful.
Resort style pool is terrific and the bar and food is a nice service. The pool and the outdoor bar/food service at the pool is the best thing about this hotel. Rooms are ok. This is not the Four Seasons or some 5 star hotel and the price point is not at that level. A renovation would be nice but I would recommend this place because the value is good
Hotel is in a great location. Staff is friendly but don't seem to be enthusiastic to go the extra mile to assist. Although the hotel is clean and appointed well, its a bit tired and needs a complete overhaul. This is not really what I expected from a premium branded/priced hotel. Hallways are dark and drab, rooms look like they were refurbished but cheaply, carpets although might be clean don't really appear as such perhaps because of the terrible lighting and dark, dated brown colors. Toilets are noisy with old loud commercial pressure flushing. Makes you feel like you're in a train station or airport.
Most reasonably priced hotel in the area. Nice rooms, clean, and quiet. There needs extensive updating, and upgrading. Doors in bathroom, toilet, and shower needs to be updated. Over-all a good place to rest your head, take a hot shower.
The people are the saving grace. The property needs massive renovations and upgrades. They haven't invested in it and it's just bad. I could normally accept that but the price doesn't reflect the terrible state of this property. I only stay at Marriott properties and this should not be a Renaissance. This so far below the property standard is a joke. I checked out early and went to a proper hotel. The people are nice and helpful. The outdoor bartender is awesome (Eric) and Kelly the manager was great as well. Whoever owns this property sucks.
Hotel was a horrible experience. My wife just stayed there attending pickleball tournament. The room truly smelled, bugs were in the room, mirror in bathroom was cracked, shower leaked, a horrible experience. Shame on Marriott for allowing such a bad place.
