Well, we had flown in from Nova Scotia only to decide to cancel our family trip to Mexico because of the uncertainties with the Coronavirus. We were tired and stressed and then we met the most wonderful front desk lady... Pat! She quickly reassured us that they would make our stay a great one and she was right . From the nice outdoor pool, great room with a balcony to the amazing made to order breakfast, we were able to relax and start enjoying our vacation. This hotel was very clean and close to some beaches that we checked out. Thank you to the great staff at this hotel, all very friendly and caring, especially Pat! If we are ever in this area again , we will be staying here!!!

Great clean hotel to stay at near FAU. Staff was awesome and our family felt safe with the current virus scare. Breakfast was incredible and the omlet station is a must. Very knowledgeable front dest staff who knows the local area and restaurants. Pricing was a great value for the area. Highly recommeded.

The allergy report first, then the normal person review: As usual, they only had the 5-sided protector over the mattresses, which seems to be Pure's new shortcut. Housekeeping did make certain there were no feather pillows, and that the pillow encasements were on. Our room was not ready in time for our check-in, and I wound up going up to the room to help the housekeeping staff. Sadly, this hotel also doesn't understand about allergies. I walked in, to find that the housekeeper had the balcony doors wide open, letting in plenty of pollen and dust and the HEPA filter in the room was set to off. I immediately explained the situation to her, shut the balcony doors and turned the filter on to High. This is not a good place to stay for someone with respiratory allergies, due to the inattention of the staff plus how the interior space is set. Normal person review: The layout of the hotel is interesting and very tropical, so there is a lot of fresh air and breezes. There is a covered open-air courtyard in the center of the room corridors. When I arrived, the hotel was in chaos and there was no one to even get me a luggage cart, much less to help with luggage. While the staff were kind and friendly, especially Raymon, they were also ineffective as far as my own needs. I can't attest to normal rooms, but our room was subpar in addition to the issues with Pure and allergies. These rooms almost seem like Embassy Suites rooms from the 1990s that have never been updated, so there's a lack of available outlets and USB plugs. Other than that, the layout was good and I almost never had a problem with exterior noise. The heated pool and the whirlpool were both nice, and the area was a pleasant place to chill out and swim. We didn't avail ourselves of the evening socials, since they were noisy and packed, but the buffet breakfast was fairly decent, with cooked to order eggs and omelets. The parking lot is not that close to the hotel, and since there were no luggage carts available to me, I had to go back and forth to my car. Also, there are very few accessible cuts in the curbs, making wheeling suitcases difficult. I can only imagine how bad it must be for someone in a wheelchair or with a rollator. The closest spots are reserved for the Fish Market valet. Bringing the luggage up to our floor was a pain, since a closed vestibule with non-automatic doors made it difficult to open and close them while handling suitcases. My experience here at the Boca Suites was not pleasant, and for the extra money, not worth it for us to stay here again.

Thank you for taking the time to review in such detail your experience at the Hilton Boca Raton Suites. I appreciate your comments and will certainly share this with my leadership team for appropriate training and followup. We are in the process of renovation design however no dates have been determined at this time. Our corridors are open air so I can certainly understand your concerns for allergy free accommodations. As we also review our parking lot design I will share you comments. Again we can only improve by hearing such detail from our guests. Be Well! .

The hotel was clean and centrally located for my purposes. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean with plenty of towels. Breakfast was ....breakfast. Pretty hard to screw up a buffet!

First let me premise that we only stayed one night on our way to Florida, so I didn’t have time to go to the fitness room nor enjoy a meal, so this is based on our check-in and room alone. I booked this hotel on a third party site as we had a $225 credit to use. We use this site regularly because we are living overseas so it doesn’t limit us to one brand, although we often choose Hilton for their quality. This is the first time that a Hilton hotel wouldn’t even log my Honors number in the system because I did not book direct, and I can count double digits of Hiltons and Doubletrees where this has not been an issue. I know I get zero points or status with Hilton when I don’t book direct but it logs it to my Honors and keeps me active. The lady at the front desk wouldn’t do it. I’m not gonna crab about one night but this just sets the tone with me. I could already tell from the lobby that had an old smell that I was not in a 4 star hotel. And then when we got to our room - as one Traveler wrote - reminded him of that old school Embassy suites hotel. Dark and truly outdated. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but this is not a 4-star hotel and I do believe Hilton has neglected to keep this property updated. There is small living room up front and then you walk through a hall (microwave/refrigerator on right, tiny bathroom on left),bedroom in the back. Lots of furniture crammed in the room with the bed, which seems unnecessary unless maybe you’re gonna unpack and stay a while. We finally found a plug not behind 100-pound furniture (and not by the bed) to plug in our devices. That seems petty, but just an indication of how outdated things are in these rooms. These days the bedside tables have USB ports in them! All in all, there was nothing wrong...I just think the hotel and room was way too pricey for what it is and what I expect north of $250. In current state and at those prices, I would not stay here again.
