My youngest son and his wife took us to the Keys for a week and we spent 4 of them at the fishing camp thoroughly enjoying the Key Deer, The Rooster, the friendliness and cooperation of the staff and the warm waters of the Keys. We will be back next year to unwind. Try Kayaking to the hidden Salt Lake,... More

We are locals but wanted a getaway close to home that wasn't expensive. The cabins are clean and rustic. It gave us what we needed for the weekend. The price was right for the size cabin. We will go back. If I say there is a con it would be the futon is a little hard to relax on and... More

My husband and I were on our anniversary get away. We love to fish and lobster. We don't need a fancy place or amenities, however, basic things need improvement, and if you bring your own boat, use caution. First, we stayed in Cottage 1A. Nice size, decent beds. The bathroom does not have an electrical outlet. Luckily we brought an... More

I recommend this cottage for your stay while in the Florida Keys! It is rustic, clean, comfortable and accommodating. It meets my approval. Please contact them before reserving and get full detail on whether it will meet your standards for a stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything we needed and it was great to walk around the property in the morning and watch the sunrise. The location was perfect for us, as it was midway between Marathon and Key West if we wanted to wander around and Big Pine, Little Torch and Cudjoe Keys are great places to... More

The place has potential but the cabins are pricey for what they are. They have the potential to be nice if only they would invest a little money in them. The have extremely old and extremely dirty air conditioner units with tons of dust and dirt and the sleeper couch needs to be replaced. For 190 a night they should... More

If you’re reading this please reconsider where you will stay while visiting our beloved Big Pine Key for having recently visited the OWB under new management I must confess that the place looks very rundown. Then after having been charged for ice that we did not put on a tab after check out! How could I in good conscious recommend... More

Nice looking, little cottages with a lot of character. Each cottage has their own grill and table outside. Very comfortable size. Extremely filthy! I normally take Clorox with me to clean the bathrooms in the hotels.... Thank Good ! Because the toilet was so filthy urine drops (disgusting). That was the worse thing!!! Also I had to sweep and mop... More
