Not only does the food taste great, it was very neat and visually appealing. Staff was excellent and attentive. Restaurant was busy but kept up the pace of the crowd. Food portions were large and plenty to bring home for lunch or dinner then next day. Great mixed crowd families couples and larger groups. Very accommodating.

The staff is friendly and experienced. Our server was wonderful. The food was great. The food was hot, fresh and portion size was unbelievable. The atmosphere is beach and really pleasant. It's a great place for lunch. Would definitely come again.

The rooms here are very nice. However, the beds are extremely uncomfortable which makes it hard to sleep. The "beach" isn't really a beach in my opinion but we still had an enjoyable time (despite the beds). The restaurant is amazing and it was very nice to eat a good dinner and walk right back to our room after. All...

We were on our way to Orlando and wanted some where to stay for the night for the kids to see the gulf. The Rooms were great and the service was amazing. The manager was in a great mood when we showed up and was willing to show us a room before we even booked! Great staff and great room!!

Here ist the story of how we ended up at the INN on the GULF and just loved it: Well, we had booked a scalloping charter out of Hernando Beach to leave at sunrise and decided to spend the night before close by: The Inn on the Gulf seemed to be a "liked" destination and I can tell you: the...

Some things you need to remember if you are expecting a full kitchen. There is a separate bedroom with two queen beds, nice closet, nice bathroom. The living room, dining room and kitchen area are adequate. The only thing missing is a stove. Though I know when you visit a motel you usually get a small refrigerator and microwave but...

small, 20 unit, motel on the beach, well the Gulf of Mexico, no beach here. The room included a bedroom and living room with kitchenette. We had the end room which included a table and 8 chairs outside, perfect to see the playground across the one way road and the Gulf of Mexico. We came to see the sunset. The...

Loved the room, location, view and restaurant / bar. Only thing that would have made the hospitality extraordinary would have been if they would have refunded one day as a courtesy. I had to leave a day early due to a car accident in was in.

While in the St. Pete area I would strongly recommend stopping in this restaurant if you're looking for some good seafood and good service. While there I would also recommend walking across the parking lot and checking out Sam's beachfront bar has live music a great place to watch the sunset.

As we stood, watching the sunset on Hudson Beach and waited (45 minutes plus) for our table at Sam's Beach Bar, I looked around and saw the sign at the Inn on the Gulf: "Live Main Lobster". We had come to Sam's specifically because an out of town guest was looking for seafood but the wait at Sam's was CRAZY...
