Although I was asked if I could "answer" a question. . . there is no question in this post. It is a litany of MANY things that went wrong with the couple's stay -- none of which should have happened. Westin should have charged them $0 for the unbelievably bad accommodations and service. Although I live in the city where this hotel is and have been to a class reunion there, I've never stayed in a room. I did notice some minor gaffs during our dinner (e.g., no salt or pepper on any of the tables), but nothing major. But it's obvious from this posting that the hotel has some serious managment problems.
