Hotel's Favorite
We stayed in room 609 , nicely designed with a comfortable seating area, desk, and semi separate sleeping area. The heating unit was slightly noisy when it came on. The room was immaculate with a lovely view of the river. Breakfast was complete with a variety of hot and cold choices, seating was ample and comfortable. In warm weather there is a lovely outdoor section. A number of restaurants are within walking distance. When visiting family in Wilmington , Hyatt Place will be our go-to hotel.

Husband and I went for a respite. The area is nice. Lots of restaurants close by. Couldn’t eat at the fish place right next door dosing like the smell upon walking in. I’m very funny when it comes to seafood. Hotel experience was good. Peaceful. Their breakfast oats is good😁. They don’t have much food Choices though at the Placery but what we had (crispy wings, fries sandwiches) was good. Overall a good experience.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years since our son moved to Wilmington, and have found it more to our liking than other hotels in the area, compared to The Dupont (where I swear they iron and starch the sheets) to the Marriott downtown (good luck getting there if there is an event closing off the streets and most of all, don't get into the elevator without your glasses, as you will never find the buttons without a familiarity with Braille!). The Hyatt is a clean, nicely run hotel along one of the loveliest and liveliest spots in Wilmington, the Riverfront. Breakfast is a bit lacking, especially as it never changes from day to day, but is a step above the Holiday Inn Express (but without the cinnamon roll). The highlight of this stay was the wonderful staff. From housekeeping to front desk to the Placery Bar, everyone was incredibly nice, friendly, efficient and seemed to truly enjoy their work. Brittany and Reche at the front desk always had pleasant smiles and were always willing to help (we had several changes to our travel plans over our interrupted 8 day stay). Special thanks to Iesha and Amanda, the most delightful bartenders we have encountered; they were quick to serve up drinks with a smile and a funny story. Although I made a reservation over a month in advance for a specific type of room, the hotel overbooked and the room was not available. The hotel compensated me for this, but I would have preferred the type of room I chose. The A/C unt was so loud, it kept waking me up during the night. The toilet kept refilling constantly. There were burn marks in the carpeting.

I had the best experience at the Hyatt Riverfront in Delaware. The place was neat and clean. The staff was extremely attentive to my granddaughter’s needs by supplying a crib and microwave to our room. The breakfast was great and the locale was perfect. The children’s museum is located next door to the hotel. I works most definitely stay at the Hyatt Riverfront again!

2nd time staying at Hyatt. Sure there will be 3rd time. Hotel rooms are clean and large. The breakfast was better then most. Lots of things to do within walking distance. Nice bike, walking trail along the river. Restaurants and kids activities also.

The room was very nice. It was especially nice to have a couch to relax on in addition to the bed. There is a really nice Riverwalk path behind the hotel to take a walk or even to walk to nearby restaurants.

A newer Hyatt Place. Everything was in good condition. And, unlike older Hyatt Places - the AC is not a noisy window unit! Quiet room. Only complaint was that breakfast ends too early so if you want to sleep in at all - you miss it!
