When we were ready to go to bed that night in room 107, we noticed fake eyelashes and stains of an unknown nature in one of the beds while the other had not been made at all (body shape imprint was very visible along with hairs in the sheets). We were offered to switch room. I Checked it out and it wasn’t any better

Thank you for your review. We apologize for the inconvenience. Our staff works extremely hard to assist guest when ever there is an issue. Every attempt was made to rectify the issue. The staff member you verbally abused was even kind enough to offer a new room (which you refused). She then proceed to provide new linens for you. After she remedied the situation you retired your room for the night. The next morning you took full advantage of our breakfast bar then proceed to harass another staff member on duty. We frown upon people who blatantly mistreat our hospitable staff members then proceed in bullying tactics when they don't get their way. Again we apologize and hope that in the future when there is a remediable issue you do not treat other workers as heinously as our staff was treated.

Third year in a row I have stayed here for 10 weeks on extended business trip. While the staff is friendly and the location is close to shopping, eating, and drinking places, the housekeeping is haphazard at best. Requests for housekeeping in my room was for twice a week but many of those times only the trash was emptied. 4 different requests for full housekeeping service either didnt happen, or required constant follow-up. I settled for once a week housekeeping but they didnt even clean the toilet, only closed the lid. Toilet has gone 2 full weeks without being cleaned. The room has bugs too, but they have been easy to step on so far. Honestly, their service was better last year during the pandemic.I don't pay for this room, my Employer does and there were 16 of us here at one time and have heard similar stories from several of my co-workers.

Hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Great location right on the boardwalk, which is probably why the daily rate is so high. Complimentary parking in the garage is included, which is a plus. Hotel is old, but well kept. Biggest issue is that the walls are paper thin. We could clearly hear the neighbors’ conversation.

Filthy!!! Pubic hair in the bathroom, stains on the walls, mold on the curtain, and to top it off, carpet beetles both dead and alive- management unavailable and when contacted by front desk, did not care. Left early and the management refused to issue a refund. Perhaps the health department visit will cause management to care.

We stayed at the Rehoboth Beach Boutique hotel and was very happy with our room. We were looking for a clean room that was convenient to the downtown area at a reasonable price. Beach Boutique checked all the boxes. Clean, quiet and convenient.

Potential guests beware that the Front Desk is not open from mid-afternoon until early the next morning. When you return to the 4-story hotel mid-afternoon, you will find the front doors locked and a signed posted on it stating "The office will be closed tonight and reopen in the morning. Please use your room key at the left entrance of the building to enter and exit. If you have an emergency please call....." and they post a 302 area code number. If I had an emergency, I would call 911 but, oh wait, they wouldn't have been able to get into the building! What if an ambulance was called for a medical emergency such as a heart attack? Precious minutes would be wasted by the EMTs having to call a phone number "in an emergency"! How long will it take someone from the hotel to get there to open the doors? This is a security issue and a very UNSAFE situation especially when only a handful of cars were in the parking lot overnight. I left after 2 nights of a 6 night stay. My reservation was for Labor Day September 6, 2021 - September 12, 2021. Oh and by the way, there is NO REFUND if you depart earlier than your reservation. The rate I paid for WAS NOT a prepaid rate. It was the regular rack rate. I am now out $485.07 because I chose my safety as a solo female traveler. I ended up driving home the 3rd night cutting short my vacation instead of staying in an unsafe situation.

Located over 2 miles from the beach and clearly a re-branded Comfort Inn/Holiday Inn Express/Comfort Inn steps from the main drag, this hotel's name is a bit misleading. What it is, however, is a basic hotel with ok beds, standard bathroom (clean - no toiletries), good amenities (fridge, microwave) and laundry for those persons staying more than a few nights. Due to Covid, breakfast wasn't much, instead - head next door to Fresh Market for more palatable offerings. Note that the carpeting throughout and the pool area were tired and clearly past their use-by date.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We are only 1.5 miles to the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk. You are correct this was a Holiday Inn Express. We just took it over about 2 years ago our first year open was in the mix of COVID-19 so we really couldn't do any updates or upgrades to the hotel. We do have toiletries that are placed in your room in the bathroom on the counter. We do not provide stay over service due to Hotel Industry Policy. No one in the state of Delaware is providing stay over service unless you stay more then 6 nights. Each day you place your dirty linen outside your door as well as any trash you may have and housekeeping picks it up and leaves a new fresh bag of linens for you. Or you can call down to the front desk which then it will be brought to your room. Our breakfast is the standard continental breakfast but just a grab n go type verse sitting in the breakfast room which is not allowed to be open at this time as well due to COVID-19. Which includes fresh fruit (Apples), muffins (three different kinds), granola bars (4/5 different kinds), oatmeal (4 different kinds), cupped fruit 100% fruit juice in cup, yogurt (4 different kinds), apple juice, orange juice, hot coffee, hot tea, These are just some of the things we offer. All of these things apart from our rebranded hotel name are on the websites when your booking your reservation as well as explained when you check in to our hotel. Your next visit to Rehoboth beach I do hope you research the hotel policies and procedures that way you know what to do once you have checked in to your room. We understand that COVID-19 has changed a lot, as well as It also comes with a lot of frustration we are here to help and keep guests as well as staff SAFE and HEALTHY. We hope you can understand that and keep a open mind the next time you stay at another hotel in Rehoboth Beach Delaware.

This was our first time not choosing a national chain while on vacation. We were pleasantly surprised. The Beach Boutique offered everything a chain offers at a much more affordable price. The place is well maintained, clean and super convenient to the beach and highway 1 , connecting points north and south. We were a little disappointed that the breakfast area was closed. They did offered coffee, orange juice and some danishes and coffee rolls. We will certainly consider staying there in the future.

What it is not: The Beach Boutique Hotel is neither near the beach nor a boutique hotel. What it is: The Beach Boutique Hotel used to be a Holiday Inn Express- at least that’s what the linens say. It is on the main drag with lots of other hotels and the Tanger Outlets. It is next to a Fresh Market so getting groceries and supplies is easy. We had a king room which was spacious and comfortable. The room has a coffee maker, microwave and a nice size fridge. It was nice to be able to bring leftovers back and to keep soda and waters cold. The furnishings are basic but spotlessly clean. Bath towels are small but absorbent. Toiletries are inadequate. Bring your own. There is no stay over cleaning due to COVID so don’t expect housekeeping. The pool area is old and very basic but again, clean. The pool area towels are terrible. Bring your own beach towel. There are about 20 loungers and a few round tables with umbrellas to provide a bit of shade. For the price, it was a very good hotel. Be prepared to drive or take the bus to the beach.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Correct we used to be the Holiday Inn Express we are currently transitioning things over. Stayover service is not provide due to COVID-19 which is described on all sites where you can book a reservation for our hotel, as well as explained to you the process of how we handle linens at check in. One of our highest priorities here at the Beach Boutique Hotel is the health and safe of everyone! Even though some restrictions have been lifted not all of them have been. We do hope your next visit to Rehoboth Beach we hope you find another hotel that meets all of your expectations.

We checked into this hotel at midnight after having a problem at both the RodeWay Inn and the Econo Lodge. The room was clean and comfortable. The gentlemen at the desk was friendly and professionally. He extended our check out for us since we checked in so late. Would stay here again but know that you have to ride to the beach.
