We have stayed at the Inn in times past and have been so pleased with the inn and the restaurant, Krazy Kats. I have never written a bad review of any property but I am very disturbed at my recent experience. I made three phone calls, sent an e-mail and contacted the restaurant trying to make a reservation. It is...

This has become one of our favorite places to stay. It is a comfortable, interesting, charming place close to Winterthur Museum, Nemours, Longwood Gardens and the Brandywine Museum. We often visit one attraction, stay overnight, and then visit another. The Inn has a great Spa, and I had an outstanding massage on a recent visit. The two-story "suites" are really...

This is a charming inn. Large rooms, large bathrooms. I loved the coffee maker, robes, heated towel rack. Was very comfortable. Rooms are all different and unique. It was such a nice relaxing stay. The restaurant is convenient and good.

Had been loving this place for 10 years. This past year? Terrible! Domestic abuse violence in room next door, took several calls before front desk called police. Could not get seated for breakfast at the hotel, despite being registered guests. Delayed dinner reservation by half an hour--without apology from the smug host. DON'T STAY HERE.

I would have given this five stars but the restaurant on site desperately needs to get its act together in terms of service and turnaround for food. Did breakfast and it seemed as if the staff was at odds with the chef who would not deviate from his menu (warning to anyone with allergies). We had a cottage with two...

My wife and I had just finished up a nice two day stay in Charleston, South Carolina and were faced with the prospect of a three day drive back to wintry Nova Scotia. This is how we ended up staying, almost on a whim, at the fabulous Inn at Montchanin Village. Our schedule was reasonably flexible so we have decided...

Our third time here as guests. What a romantic spot! Used to be the village where the families who worked at Winterthur lived. Here to meet with friends who live nearby in DC. It is the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. The soecisk atmosphere and superb food at their Krazy Kats restaurant will draw you back here again and...

We have stayed at the Inn on 3 occasions over the last year, including this week for our anniversary. The rooms are so comfortable and well appointed. This stay, we were in the Morgan cottage directly across from the main house. It has a beautiful 1st floor sitting room, with a fireplace, well supplied kitchenette with coffee maker, lovely selection...

We stayed at the Dupont (pictured above) for our 2nd year anniversary. Absolutely the most cozy, charming Inn we have experienced! Loved the Village itself with the gardens and walkways...our room had everything we needed (didn't want to leave!). Many Wineries in the area to visit as well as the Longwood Gardens. We will certainly return!

I came upon this charming Inn because I couldn't find a hotel room in Philadelphia, and now it will be my go-to place when I am in the area. I pulled up to this charming inn on a stormy night hoping for a comfortable nights rest during a recent business trip. When I pulled in, there were groups of buildings,...
