We went to Delaware to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. As most of us do these days, we searced on the internet and read reviews of where to stay. We settled on a Bed & Breakfast in Lewes, Delaware...I called and teased the owner, Gina asking her if she "wrote her own reviews" as they were all so great. Well...after staying...

My husband and I were looking for a place to get away from our normally chaotic schedule to relax and unwind. We had the most enjoyable stay at the Savannah Inn. Gina has done a beautiful job with the renovation and the inn is decorated perfectly. Our suite was gorgeous and very comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and everyone was...

During my 20 years on the road for work, I stayed in hundreds of hotels, and never in a B&B. We had to go to Lewes for a wedding and found all the local hotels full. Reluctantly, we decided to try a B&B for the first time. Google Maps picture of the front of the facility did not make me...

Stayed here in April. Very peaceful and relaxing. In fact, we were having such a good time, we stayed an extra night. A short walk into town for gourmet restaurants, a short drive for even more choices. A great location for many attractions without being in the crowd. Gina and her mom are the best hostesses, very helpful with suggestions...

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Savannah Inn in Lewes and loved it. We were down in the area for a wedding over by Easton, MD and wanted to visit the Dogfish brewery which was close by and came across this place on Tripadvisor. The reviews were spot on. If you are looking for a a quirky, nice, and relaxing getaway, you could do a lot worse than Lewes Delaware (the self-proclaimed First State's first town). And, if you go to Lewes, the Savannah Inn is a terrific homebase. The Inn is a 5 minute walk from the town's traditional mainstreet, a half mile from the beach, 2 miles...

The inn is beautifully decorated, pristinely clean and in a great location. The only downside was the "thinness of the walls" so that other guests were easily overheard from my room.

My husband and I just spent a long weekend at this B&B in Lewes and had a very relaxing weekend. Gina and her family are very welcoming. We stayed in the Bay Breeze room which was just the right size and had a DVD player to enjoy a movie if we wanted. The B&B has an amazing collection of DVDs...
