We stayed there for 3 nights. Neat boutique hotel just east of the canal. Convenient location, easy walk to a number of restaurants and shops. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Rooms are spacious, bathroom had double sink and larger than average. Pool is rooftop. Very small, maybe about nice lounge chairs up there. They supply towels for the pool. Staff... More

My room was comfy, the view was lovely, and the location is great. Instead of mints on the pillow, it's pieces of salt water taffy. There was a fireplace that flipped on with a wall switch -- couldn't be easier. But I've had comfy rooms at other, lower priced, hotels that also had pool and sauna. As nice as it... More

Just spent a pleasant two nights at Hotel Blue. Great location with an easy walk to both the beach and town. Our room was clean, comfy, and nicely sized. Staff was friendly and coffee in the lobby was great. Would have loved to use the rooftop pool but mother nature was not kind for our two day stay. However, it... More

Unique hotel with large rooms. It doesn't feel like you're in a hotel, more like you're in a guest house. I love the view of the canal and the fire place. Very convenient! It's nice to be away from the "hub bub" of the beach crowd. I did not see any kids or hear them so I'm not sure if... More

This was our first stay although we have stayed elsewhere in this lovely canal/beach town. Hotel Blue was a small and well-managed facility with a great location and plenty of parking. Our room had a private koi pond and just the right amount of space planning, comfort and relaxing. The rooftop pool and phenomenal round the clock gourmet coffee machine... More

I want to love Hotel Blue, and I used to. My wife and I have visited three times and the first and second were lovely. However, this third time was disappointing. Whereas in the past, when we have been enthusiastically greeted by the owners, this time we were greeted by staff that seemed as though they wanted to be anywhere... More

Nice, large rooms with a TV in the sitting area that has a fireplace and a TV facing the bed. Awesome bathroom...double under-lit glass sink (great as a night light), separate tub, shower and toilet room with door. Nice balcony. Just be prepared to hear the horn of the large boat leaving the harbor in the a.m.! Walk across the... More

Found this place about a year ago and have been back 4 or 5 times for a weekend getaway. Rooms are nice and big but cozy with the fireplace and nicely decorated. My only complaint is the tv's could be updated.

My husband and I were interested in staying for a few nights and wanted to get a suite to accommodate our one year old son. I called today to ask about their rooms and if we could have our son sleep in a play pen. The employee indicated we would be charged a $50 fee for the extra person and... More

We have been to Lewes numerous times. Most of the time, we stop and visit the shops and have lunch at the Irish Eyes Pub, before we head further south to Rehoboth Beach or to Ocean City. This trip, we attended a wedding in Lewes, and stayed at Hotel Blue. As the previous reviewers stated, this is a hidden gem.... More
