I am a bit tardy in writing this review. Trip 2 was in November and trip 3 was more recent over the January 1, 2019 holiday. I spent a bit of time reading other reviews before posting this one. They are spot on and there isn't a great deal I can add above and beyond what

We recently spent several nights on Bawah reserve. It could not have been a more blissful and relaxing few days. Everything is beautifully designed, down to the last detail which instantly made it feel individual and brimming with stylish character. We stayed in a beach villa

What an amazing experience our family had, gathering here for a reunion over Christmas and New Year! Bawah is an incredibly beautiful, remote ring of islands surrounded by clear blue waters and the resort takes every advantage of this while honoring and preserving the pristine

An abundance of beautiful coral and an active program to grow coral! Mosquitoes were not bad and they supply a great natural repellant, if you need it. They also have a great system for managing mosquitoes that does not Involve pesticides.

December and January are the wetter months. November is leading up to this so the later in the month you are more likely to see showers. But generally speaking October and November are warmer months. Day time temperatures 29-34 degrees night time 23-25. Wind is sporadic coming from all points in the compass. Great for paddle boarding, beach events, other islands excursions. I hope this helps your decision!

Sorry meant to add on the romantic dining ideas: book private dining in our beautiful look out one evening, also be sure to arrange a private picnic on one of our 13 private beaches. As for activities - choose from couples spa treatments, 6 island sunset boat trip, double kayaking, movie night under the stars.........

Tipping is greatly appreciated. You may tip individually or pass to management to distribute through a central fund. Tips are accepted in cash (IDR) or a specified amount can be added to your final bill. Anything is appreciated but the norm is suggested between: $10 - $100 USD per individual or between $200 - $1000 USD collectively.
