Very good stay! The hotel itself is located in an ideal spot right in the beach with great ocean views. Friendly staff greeted us on arrival and were helpful throughout the stay. Clean room and met standard expectations for the age of the property. The pool is very nice and we spent time there every day. Free parking was great given how crowded it gets in the summer. Would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I were here last 4th of July and stayed in a first floor motel room with our dog and loved it so much that we booked a villa for the following year (funny, the last review for this place e was mine from a year ago- I am convinced people don't review it because they want to keep it a secret). Originally we were booked for one of the rear villas but when an Oceanfront one turned out to be available for the week before we grabbed it. We planned to come with our two sons but our older son couldn't make it so our younger son brought a friend. There are only 2 Oceanfront villas and they book a year plus in advance (booked already for the last 3 available days in September next year), my only complaint about the motel room was the lack of view from the 1st floor dog rooms. The view from the villa was spectacular! There are two Oceanfront decks. You can see the water from the bottom deck and sand and water from the top. I wish the deck had a railing like the motel deck.. the solid wall is good for privacy and blocks the view of the parking lot, but my doggie couldn't see out. Decor on the lower level was clean and beachy and pergo floors were nice. Upstairs decor was a little dated, bedding could have been better. bathrooms could use an update and deck could stand a powerwash but otherwise everything was fabulous. My only other complaint is that while they provide a vacuum and broom (daily maid service is not provided) they didn't give us any cleaning spray - requested it and they brought us some industrial strength foaming cleaning stuff so we ended up buying a bottle of spray cleaner at the corner store. A Swiffer Wet Jet would have been good too. I ended up using a wet towel. Laundry detergent, dish soap and dishwasher pods are provided as well as paper towels, napkins, coffee filters etc. Shampoo, soap and body lotion. But no conditioner so bring your own if you need it. Attached are photos of most rooms. Couldn't get a photo of the room with 2 twin beds because the beds were never made all week! All in all, fabulous stay!…

I was in Rehobeth a few years ago with my son for a baseball tournament and we passed through Dewey Beach and loved it. Found this hotel online and had kept it in mind ever since. My husband and I came for the 4th of July with our small dog. We stayed in one of the 1st Floor dog friendly rooms. Loved the proximity to the beach and town. The room was basic but clean. Pergo floors were a great touch (read older reviews about damp carpeting). Pillows could have been better and I wish there was a coffeemaker in the room. Free coffee and breakfast starts at 8. We went up the block to Sharkey's which opened at 6 before our early morning walk on the beach. The staff was so incredibly nice and helpful. My only major complaint is that the 1st floor rooms have absolutely no view whatsoever. You are literally looking right at the parking lot. I wish that people with dogs were allowed to stay on the Upper floors. We have a small dog so stairs are not an issue. We have stayed at other dog friendly Oceanfront motels elsewhere that allowed it. We loved everything else about our stay and already reserved a Villa for next year and hope our boys will join us. Couldn't get one of the Oceanfront ones but maybe we will in the offseason someday! If you are booking a dog friendly room please keep in mind that you need to call or email the motel. I booked online initially but it is through Booking.com and those are only for non-dog rooms. I emailed the motel and they switched my reservation. Villas are all dog friendly. …

Pleasant stay, clean well maintained motel with friendly helpful staff. Great location! Walking distance to restaurants. Pool is clean and spacious and the beach was lovely. Very relaxing trip. I will go back anytime.

Last year we stay in the motel. Nice third floor room. It was clean and comfortable.Great view and really liked the rocking chairs. So this year we booked a villa. At first looked very nice but the sofa and two chairs were very stained that i couldn't seat on them because i didn't know if they were pet stain or what. So i did not feel comfortable in the bedroom because i didn't know what or who was in that bed so a covered the bed in a great sheet i brought from home with incase i used it on the beach, the living room floor also was dirty. Very disappointed which took away from the good view and pastry with coffee for breakfast.

Just returned from September vacation at Adams Oceanfront. As always, it was perfect. The entire staff - office, housekeeping, maintenance, as well as the owner, are professional, friendly and do everything possible to provide everything required for a perfect vacation. They all do a fantastic job of making you feel at home. The Hotel had a perfect view of the ocean from our second floor room. All of the rooms are oceanfront with rocking chairs to enjoy that perfect view. They provide a great continental breakfast each morning. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Thanks to all for another great year. I can't imagine ever staying anywhere but here in Dewey Beach.

I have recently returned from Dewey beach Delaware first week Oct. 2019. We stayed at Adams ocean front villas. We stayed in villa 18 one of only 2 that are ocean front. There are other villas behind. There is a parking place under the villas. Steps to first floor. When inside 2 floors. Floor kitchen, living room, 1/2 bath, balcony, fold out sofa, table, TV The villas' kitchen has, oven, sink, fridge, microwave, dishwasher. The 1/2 bath has a washer and dryer and Adams supplies soap. The upstairs has a full bath and sky light in bath room. 2 bed rooms, master bedroom in front with balcony and full size bed, TV closet drawers for clothing. The other room in back has 2 single beds, balcony but no TV. Down stairs in the living room the fold out sofa bed is not the best for sleeping although I managed. Dogs are welcome for extra charge. They have some breakfast items in the front office not always the same every day. They have donuts, muffins, pastry, fruit, In AM: around 7:30 coffee, hot water and tea bags, creamer, sugar, sometimes O.J. no extra charge. The villas are clean, staff friendly, even other vacationers all friendly. Outside near villas and rooms are showers to rinse off great for dogs. I took dog shampoo out and did quick washes on dog after beach time worked great. We have already made our reservations for next year in one of the other villas in back, if you want a villa you have to stay at least 3 nights. See attached photos.…

Apparently it was dumb luck that I was able to book one of the 2 oceanfront villas only a few months ago. When I checked out I asked to book for next year and there was only 3 nights available in late September. Reservations open in May for the following year. It was just me and my German Shepherd in the villa. More space than we needed but very comfortable. Even though I didn't use it the kitchen was well stocked with everything I could imagine for cooking...including a slow cooker. I had an unobstructed view of the ocean from my balconies. There were people in the villa next door but I did not hear them. The decor was definitely "beachy" and it felt more like an home rental than a hotel room. Furniture all very comfortable. Staff was really nice. As mentioned they had pastries and fruit in the lobby each morning. They did not come and clean my room or make my bed. But someone checked on the 2nd day to see if I needed anything. Both bathrooms were stocked with probably 10 each of bath and hand towels. The check in information explained that you are responsible for linens during your stay. A family of 4 could easily stay there for a week or more and cook every meal.…

We were literally ocean front over the small dune. We stayed on the second floor and had a lovely view. The hotel had rocking chairs set up over the balcony with bright red cushions that were so cheery. In the lobby they served all day coffee, cookies, donuts and fruit you could just stop in and take-gratis. They have a nice pool and super friendly staff. We will stay there again without a doubt. This was our first trip to Dewey and we are delighted we found a place like this!

Very good access to beach, pool, off street parking for residents. Room a bit tired, but clean. Balcony shared...which was unexpected...centrally located. Weather odd, as stormy from country-side (& not Ocean) every afternoon-loved the Thunderstorms, but both beach & pools all closed off (state law apparently), which was annoying.
