Stay at the Hyatt place! Hospitable and responsive staff. Beautiful location, view, and deck. Excellent location for all Dewey, Lewes, and Rehoboth Beach attractions. There are several restaurants and bars within walking distance. Right on the bay. One block to the beach.
The hotel is in central location, looks nice from outside. The only rooms with front bay view are the private residences on top floors. Rooms need to be refurbished. Breakfast area not the best. You can get a nice parking lot or street view room. Staff is friendly.
Great place for a weekend get away with our beach loving pup! Clean and very spacious! Park your car in the spacious garage and then walk to the beach, restaurants, bars, etc. The breakfast in the morning and drinks in the evening were great! We will definitely be back
Love this little Sleepy town, never been this deep into winter, but we scored weather was great and our place was perfect. The Hyatt met all my needs, and being a dog owner it was awesome for us. The bay behind us and the beach across street makes the Hyatt the most desirable place to stay in Dewey
When I went to make a reservation at this hotel which claims to be pet friendly they told me that the pet fee was $100 per pet per night. Since I have three dogs that would have added $600 cost to my two night stay. I would not call this place "pet friendly."
This hotel is in a good location, right next to the beach. That's probably the best part. Everything else is just okay. Rooms are okay, but walls are super thin and you can hear absolutely everything. I'm a heavy sleeper and couldn't sleep well the first night. Breakfast is also just okay. They are always running out of something and there arent' many options, feels like a continental breakfast. They had a hot chocolate station that they couldn't keep fully stocked or keep towels in the pool fully stocked either.
We very much enjoyed our visit to the Hyatt Place Dewey beach, especially because the Rusty Rudder bar/restaurant across the street from our 2BR condo unit was closed for renovations, so there was no noise. We also liked the fact that we could see the bay from the window in our bedroom (looking out the window across balcony and down the street; it wasn't a direct, close view). I'm not sure I would return if the bar were open though; I suspect it could get quite loud. The ocean was only a few minutes' walk away so we enjoyed a 4-mile walk the next morning with hardly anyone around. Many thanks to Nicole for making our visit quite pleasant.
Awesome family getaway made better by great property, amazing staff, and very reasonable upgrade to a condo unit. Thank you so much Nicole for coaching us into the upgrade. Also, thank you Carter for your assistance in that process. We appreciate both of you, and your extraordinary hospitality. We had a blast. Indoor pool with basketball hoop was extra special for our 12 year old Son and 10 year old Daughter. Although this is not a property we could afford “in season” , we will watch rates, and hopefully be able to pull off another “off season” visit with our children next year. Thank you so much!!
Everything was fantastic! I am a Hyatt member and always am amazed at the staff and how they go above and beyond. The hotel was VERY clean! The location of this Hotel in Dewey is great and the breakfast place next store, The Dewey Post was wonderful. Will definitly go back!
This is our 2nd year in a row our organization held an event at the Hyatt Place Dewey Beach/Lighthouse Cove and once again they did not disappoint! Everything was perfect and no detail overlooked. Our guests felt like royalty during their stay, with special requests being accomodated. Their staff is simply the best, handling any and all requests with ease and grace. This is the reason we will keep our annual event here at Hyatt Place Dewey Beach! Thank you all for such an amazing weekend!
