If you are looking for a property that lacks modern features, this is for you. You can feel the hundred year old history of the place. Much enjoyed using it as a getaway. Front porch is a nice hangout. Property is right on beach.

We came in late on Thursday evening (10 p.m.) of Labor Day weekend. We stayed 'til Sunday. We were looking for a low key, classy and relaxing few days on the beach and that's exactly what we got. No staff at night. Just a note for us on the front desk with directions to our room. Very quaint and creepy... More

We booked a two night stay at the Addy Sea at the end of our summer vacation and were looking for a nice relaxing stay at a quiet B&B on the beach to finish a multi-stop road trip up and down the east coast. We arrived at the Addy Sea after an 11 hour drive from Charlestown, SC and with... More

My wife and I just stayed here for 3 nights. I can't say enough. Wonderful room. Onsite parking that is accessible anytime. Beachfront. Outdoor showers to wash off the sand. Peaceful. Great staff. Walking distance to Garfield Ave (where most of the restaurants are). It was perfect. I watched the sun rise over the ocean. Dolphins playing in the water... More

An overall good B&B - it is literally oceanfront, steps to the beach which is great. We stayed in Room 10 which is the considered the best room in the inn - ocean front facing (no balcony, no TV), but all windows face the beach, bathroom was good size and the water pressure was really good and lots of hot... We've stayed there a number of times, but last weekend they had just one room left. Was told we're sorry it doesn't have a shower and I figured we'd use a communal bathroom down the hall...not a deal breaker. We arrive and discover the reason it doesn't have a shower is because the lap pool sized (ok..slight exaggeration) Jacuzzi is... More

We stayed at the Addy Sea in June of 2014 to celebrate our anniversary. We stayed in Room #4 which was very comfortable, clean and attractive. No TV in the room which was great. Staff was friendly but not overly welcoming. The B&B is located right in Bethany. Short walk to their boardwalk and shopping. We enjoyed the breakfast, the... More

We stayed at the Addy Sea in June of this year. I specifically picked the Addy Sea because it was a 'Bed and Breakfast'. We have stayed in B&Bs throughout the US and Europe with some of the best being in the UK. The beauty of a B & B is its personal touch - the owner interacts with you,... More

We stayed at the Addy Sea during the March Blizzard. They opened the liquor cellar for us. We were there with three other couples and we had a blast. This is the oldest structure on Bethany Beach and it is charming. The rooms are comfortable and clean with breakfast included. You can walk right out to the water and also... More

I've stayed at the Addy a few times in the past 8 years (you can't beat watching the sun or moon rise from your bed!) but I was disappointed in the breakfast this time. Gone were the wonderful breakfast casseroles I remember, just scrambled eggs with cheese each day, what seemed like reheated pancakes from frozen. The brownies at tea... More
