Built in 1902, the Addy Sea comes by its Victorian atmosphere honestly, and has retained classic Victorian furnishings and décor. The Addy Sea even serves an afternoon tea in a room with a fireplace and overstuffed furniture. The theme is carried through to the rooms and even the walls, where oil paintings with nineteenth century themes abound. The rooms vary,...

My wife and I stayed here the 1st weekend in January. When we arrived we were essentially given our choice of rooms. The room and bed were ample. Toilet and shower were not. Select number mattress on bed made no difference to me although I expected something special. The Addy Sea is a historic building and is located right on...

My review is very different. We stayed here with a wedding party. The wedding was held here and only a small group stayed on site (mostly family; others stay at the Holiday Inn). This was our first b&b experience. I liked knowing that everyone was part of the wedding party even though we didn't really know anyone. I was not...

The Addy Sea is an Old Victorian home converted into a Bed and Breakfast, My self and my Wife stayed recently for a night in room 12 because during this time the price had been reduced to 125$ a night. We arrived at 9pm and a letter was left for us explaining how to get to our room so as...

If you are looking for a property that lacks modern features, this is for you. You can feel the hundred year old history of the place. Much enjoyed using it as a getaway. Front porch is a nice hangout. Property is right on beach.

We came in late on Thursday evening (10 p.m.) of Labor Day weekend. We stayed 'til Sunday. We were looking for a low key, classy and relaxing few days on the beach and that's exactly what we got. No staff at night. Just a note for us on the front desk with directions to our room. Very quaint and creepy...

We booked a two night stay at the Addy Sea at the end of our summer vacation and were looking for a nice relaxing stay at a quiet B&B on the beach to finish a multi-stop road trip up and down the east coast. We arrived at the Addy Sea after an 11 hour drive from Charlestown, SC and with...

My wife and I just stayed here for 3 nights. I can't say enough. Wonderful room. Onsite parking that is accessible anytime. Beachfront. Outdoor showers to wash off the sand. Peaceful. Great staff. Walking distance to Garfield Ave (where most of the restaurants are). It was perfect. I watched the sun rise over the ocean. Dolphins playing in the water...

An overall good B&B - it is literally oceanfront, steps to the beach which is great. We stayed in Room 10 which is the considered the best room in the inn - ocean front facing (no balcony, no TV), but all windows face the beach, bathroom was good size and the water pressure was really good and lots of hot...

We've stayed there a number of times, but last weekend they had just one room left. Was told we're sorry it doesn't have a shower and I figured we'd use a communal bathroom down the hall...not a deal breaker. We arrive and discover the reason it doesn't have a shower is because the lap pool sized (ok..slight exaggeration) Jacuzzi is...
