Charming little inn. Some rooms have bathrooms, some don't. No elevators (our room was two flights up). Nice coffee and continental breakfast in the morning. Fun pub in the basement. Did not eat lunch or dinner here so I can't comment on food quality. If you are game for a quirky place out of the ordinary, give this a try.... More

No, it never went anywhere. My wife and I wanted to a familiar spot. We have taken a hiatus from patronizing the Curtis House. At our last visit they had done away with one of our favorite memories—the three relishes or dips and crackers they would start you out with. Although they were missing the pretzel crackers, we were glad... More

The Curtis House Inn is clean and comfortable with a ton of character and charm. It's a very old building that feels very "New England." We were surprised to see other people at breakfast - we assumed it was mostly vacant since we didn't hear anybody all night! Our room was small but sufficient and comfortable enough for us. Breakfast... More

rickety broken furniture,no hot water first night, clogged sink drain they said was unfixable, dirty unopenable windows, dusty, cigarette smoke smell in closet coming up from open wall of drain pipes, hard uncomfortable bed, cold cereal and store bought bread in a bag for toast for breakfast,no breakfast Sunday morning. Holes in sheets, no help with bags to second floor. Place should... More

We stopped with friends to lunch at the Inn. We selected the Pub as it seemed more casual and we wanted a leisurely lunch and a long time to talk and catch up. At 2pm, we were the only people in the pub and it was perfect for our needs. The pub food was good, selections from the restaurant menu,... More

I had to share a bathroom on the third floor up 2 flights of rickedy stairs. I expected the shared bath, but not as filthy as it was. There was a sink in the bedroom but the stopper did not work and there was no hot water. I felt very UNSAFE!!!!! There was no way out except for these narrow... More

I stayed 5 nights in the Curtis House Inn last October and had a wonderful experience. The staff is very friendly and is willing to help. The Inn is the historic Inn with very traditional setting. The room is clean and cosy. The food in the restaurant of the Inn is very yummy. The experience in the Inn is over... More

I stopped in Woodbury for the night and Curtis House was a perfectly good spot to stay. If you have mobility issues make sure you request a room on a lower floor as the stairs to the top were a workout! The room itself was excellent, very comfortable squishy bed, clean and fresh bathroom. The TV had good stations and... More

We spent one night here and thought it was great! A huge comfortable bed in a clean and tidy room with bundles of character. Yes the floor and doors creak and there is a small amount of road noise, none of which kept us from getting a good night's sleep. We were on the top floor with a shared bathroom,... More
