I have stayed here overnight several times on business trips. Very quiet at night (no highways nearby). Now they have a restaurant and bar, which I did not try but look very nice. They upgraded me to a suite (room 209, I think) which was spacious and comfortable (see photos). I gather they do a lot of weddings here --...

Booked a high end room. Description was not exaggerated but the anticipated property ambiance was severely lacking. Pleasant geolocation as represented but definitely outside of the town proper. Continental 'breakfast' was quite perfunctory! Ultimately departed without an opportunity to bathe - management explanation was we were not SMART enough to operate the plumbing. May work on my technical PhD prior...

Bathroom seems remodeled not to long ago and was very clean. Room was clean as expected also but sheets did not fit the bed and kept on coming off of mattress. Very convenient points of interest near Fairfield. Paid $170/night. Much to expensive for what we got.

Having organized two events at the Inn at Longshore for work, I knew what to expect when we decided to hold my daughter's wedding there. Beyond the beauty of the waterfront views and the gracious charm of the inn itself, the staff is superlative. The event and wedding coordinators are knowledgable, flexible, accommodating, and friendly. They went out of their...

This old fashioned hotel has large comfortable rooms, but completely outdated bathrooms. The setting is unique, and there is a lovely lounge to sit in. But there isn't an elevator ( which they do warn you about), nor a bar or restaurant.I cannot understand why people on Tripadvisor have said so. There is a dining room that is used exclusively...

Thank you so much for taking the time to review The Inn at Longshore. There is a restaurant and bar in the same building, the patio bar is in the back of the building, there is a private room for the guests who stay here to enjoy the continental breakfast. Typically, the guests who are staying at The Inn don't...

We stayed at the Inn as our son's wedding and reception were held here. First, let me say that the wedding and reception were exceptionally well done with wonderful attention to detail, excellent food and service, and a fine view of the inlet during the outdoor wedding service. Second, the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. But thirdly, access...

Dear Drbarkley6769 - Thank you for taking the time to review The Inn at Longshore. We are pleased that you enjoyed the wedding. The building was built in the late 1800's and we do not have an elevator, but do state this in the confirmation email that is sent to all guests. We have guest service staff here eager to...

Technically called the Longshore Club & Park Inn, this is a public park (golf course, event venue, beach area and more) supported by Westport tax dollars. The Inn is a restaurant open to the public; the golf course etc are reserved for Westport citizens and guests. This makes it a great boon for the .2% beyond the fabled 1% who...

I stayed at the Inn at Longshore for a wedding. It was a great hotel with a lot of charm. The service was absolutely fantastic and the rooms were very comfortable. The food was also fantastic. My family and I stayed at this inn for one night, just as a place to spend the night. It was a very charming house-like structure with comfortable rooms and rather large bathrooms. The only thing that was an irritation was the AC which was loud!

We just returned from attending a wedding at the Inn of Longshore. We had a wonderful time at the pretty location. The cocktail hour was outside overlooking the Long Island Sound. The beautiful, sunny and warm weather helped to enhance the atmosphere. The waitstaff was friendly, efficient and accommodating to everyone's request. The main banquet room was beautiful and had...
