The Captain's Apartments are situated in Kioni village of Ithaca island, Greece. They are located only 150 meters from the seafront and offer you a pleasant, comfortable stay in self catering studios and apartments. They feature a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, large veranda, telephone, free internet access, satellite television, air condition (and central heating for the winter months), also free parking space is available.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
A peaceful, cosy and clean place for people who seek that kind of vacation. It has a small parking for 5 cars but you can also park at 500m at municipal parking. Beware that the rooms are in an uphill , the access may be difficult in case of mobility issues .

Very nice place to stay specially if you do not fancy crowds and noise. Clean simple and tidy, with excellent pricing and free parking. Also captains door is always open for help, suggestions and help with anything you might need. Magic Ithaca, feels like you died and went to heaven.

We were looking for a place to stay for a night at the last minute. We turned up late at Captain’s Apartments and were greeted by a very friendly and accommodating owner. We stayed in one of the top floor apartments. Very clean and tidy, everything you could need. Very comfortable bed. A 2 minute walk down to the restaurants and water’s edge. We found the walk back up was better following the “main road” which took about 5 minutes. “Main road”, as not at all busy, but a gentler gradient! A great place to stay.

I stayed at these apartments for a week. The room is spacious, with air-con, flat screen tv, and a neat kitchenette. There is also very strong wifi. The room is well positioned, in a quiet area, five minutes from town and the beaches. The room is also cleaned daily, and the owners are very helpful. They helped me before I left for Greece with ferry and taxi bookings. My room had an awesome view of "Rachi". The room is also very well priced. I will be back again!

We stayed in these lovely apartments at the beginning of June and wish we could have stayed longer. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and Captain Dion and his wife were waiting to welcome us - they were very friendly and helpful and we felt that it was important to them that their guests were happy with the accommodation provided. We were in Appt No 1 which had a large 'L shaped' private balcony with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and also a massive shared terrace which we had to ourselves whilst we were there. Air con and safety deposit box included in the price. We were very impressed with the standard of cleanliness and the well maintained accommodation and lovely garden areas. Only a short (but quite steep) walk down to the harbour/well stocked supermarket and tavernas. A beautiful and peaceful location which we hope to visit again. Would certainly recommend.

We booked the apartment directly with Dion and the price was reasonable and Dion was really helpful with prices and information about the transfers all the way from Kefalonia to the island of Ithaca and to his apartments. It made self packaging this holiday incredibly easy. Once at the apartments we found them to be exceptionally clean and cleaned daily (beds made, bins emptied, new towels etc.) and we also found them to be well appointed e.g. all that you could need kettle, iron, hangers in the wardrobe, all cooking paraphernalia etc. The apartments are traditional in style and fairly typical of Greek apartments and really lovely. The air conditioning is included as is everything else and they provide washing up liquid, tea towels etc....which many people may know can be lacking in some accommodation in Greece. We had a great time in Ithaca and Dion and his family made us very welcome and really looked after us. We would definitely return. These apartments are so well located, some of the best in the resort. Thank you Dion - we will be back!!

Nice rooms with all the basics, spotlessly clean with a great view from our room. Good value for money with parking, something not easy to find in Kioni. Nicely appointed just above the bay and the tavernas, shops and small beaches around the village.

Wow.. What a beautiful island and a fantastic apartment await you. A Great location only a few metres from the lovely harbour of Kioni with all of its great restaurants and bars. The bar on the corner opposite the mini- market served the best cocktails and played cool music into the early hours Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The apartment was a good size and immaculately clean and kept clean every day. Good wi-fi. Nice views Cemetery beach is close by and has a pleasant taverna, travel south along the harbour for about 20 mins by foot along the road I would advise a car for your stay, the roads are narrow but very quite. There are lovely Pebbled beaches and breathtaking views all over the island which make it a wonderful place to visit. We have already booked for next year, can't wait..! Many thanks

We stayed at the Captain’s Apartments for nine nights during September. We were greeted by Captain Dion and Dosia who made us feel extremely welcome. The apartments are exceptionally clean and well maintained with our linen changed every day. Our bedroom had air conditioning and there was wi-fi throughout the whole apartment. We had balconies both sides of our apartment so we could have breakfast in the sun looking towards the sea and then in the evening enjoy a drink in the sunshine looking out onto the hillside above Kioni. If we return to Kioni we will book to stay here. The village tavernas and bars are all within a 5 minute walk - downhill. In Kioni Bay there are two beaches close to the apartments but the best, Cemetery Beach, is a 20 minute walk along the bay road. It is definitely worth the walk as there is a Cantina serving excellent food and drink and a beach with spectacular views back towards Kioni.

Captain's Apartments are ideal for a stay in Kioni - just a few minutes walk from the main town. It's quite a steep walk, although you soon get used to it, but this may be an issue for some people. I received a very friendly welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The lovely apartments are clean, well- equipped and serviced every day. Each has a private balcony with a view of the hillsides behind Kioni, there is much needed air-conditioning and reliable free wi-fi. If I return to Kioni I would definitely book a stay here again.
