Our resort is situated at the southern most part of the island, one can easily say that our resort is literally the last corner of Bangladesh. From our resort you can watch the sunrise and sunset, which is not clearly possible from any other part of the island! The resort area is about 10 acres. We have made our resort as nature friendly as possible and have left the wild parts to be wild.
I stayed there for two nights with my wife. Really enjoyed the calmness of the place. This resort is at the southest corner of the island. There are two entry/exits- one at the west side with sunset view and another at the east side with sunrise view. West beach is very calm and it feels like a private beach. Food is also fresh and they serve food under the open sky, which is really nice.
Chera dip (a part separated from the main island) is just walking distance during low tide.
They have shared washrooms at one side of the resort. Rooms are of two types- container rooms & tents, which is really interesting. In case weather is hot, tents are suggested, since containers become hot and there is no fan.
Overall it is a very well designed and organic type of resort. If you want to relax with nature away from the crowd and have no requirement for amenities, this is probably the best place in Saint Martin island.
Best part of the resort is that it completely blends into the nature. You could listen to the ocean from your room and the beach is just a few steps away. At night when the lanterns are lit in the resort, it becomes a different world. Resort staff are really friendly and the cook is simply awesome. One thing for sure, you will always be well fed when you are staying at Music and Eco Resort.
This is a great place to stay. With minimal walk, this location lets you see both sunrise and sunset. Stay for a couple of day atleast to soak up the sun, the sounds of waves crashing, the sounds of coconut palms swaying in the wind. Only downside is this location is far from the town, so for meals you are totally dependant on them. We took their all inclusive deal and told them what kind of food we want to have.
Bottom line, its a great place to relax and unwind, would definitely go back again.
