This was well beyond the nicest B & B I have ever stayed in. I felt as if I was in a beautiful European estate in the middle of France! Regine, the owner did everything to make our weekend special. The beds were very comfortable with all the high end luxurious linens surrounded by beautiful artwork and books. Everything was... More

My 3 sisters and I met for a "Girls Weekend" . We traveled hours to this fabulous spot - it was well worth the trip. The Home is beautifully decorated with European antiques and paintings. It is close to wonderful boutique shopping but hidden away in a quite spot with magnificent views from the patio overlooking the Valley. The Inn... More

My wife and I did not quite know what to expect, since Hidden Valley is a bit hard to find and nothing about its entrance off the main road suggests what awaits you: wonderful views, a sense of serenity, attention to the smallest detail, and an utterly delightful and charming hostess. Magical and elegant.

There are not enough superlative words to do justice to Hidden Valley's stylish comfort and Regine's generous hospitality. Our family of four stayed for a week in August and it was the definitely the highlight of our USA trip. This part of Connecticut is very pretty so after a day of exploring picture-perfect towns and some superb easy hiking, Hidden... More

My fiancé and I just returned from a wonderful 2-night getaway at Hidden Valley. We stayed in the Blue Room, which boasted a luxurious king-sized bed, lovely decor, and stunning views of the surrounding hills. I was also incredibly impressed with the level of care and maintenance throughout the home: our room was immaculate (not a speck of dust in... More

Truly Incredible!! I never thought I could feel like I am in south France and still be the U.S.! We travel yearly to France and now I have the same beauty and experience here. The gardens and views are breathtaking and the breakfast was five star. The owner was very attentive to all our needs and made our whole family... More

We travelled to Washington Depot, CT for an art opening at the Washington Arts Association. If you don't know Wasthington Depot, think Litchfield. They recommended we stay at the Hidden Valley B&B. From top to bottom, nothing was taken for granted. Our hostest, Regine, (and her three very nice dogs) made our stay as comfortable as anyone could imagine. Great... More

Thank you Jim and Lisa, It was wonderful also to see Lisa's art exhibited in our Washington Art Association which was founded by Alexander Calder, a resident here. It was such a pleasure to have you here, and the most fun was that you knew the other couple and were able to reconnect. Yours Regine More

A little piece of Europe tucked in this quaint town! Your host is the amazing Regine, she is professional, extremely well traveled and knowledgable!! Her breakfasts are right out of a fine cusine restaurant in Europe. Do stay here if you want relaxation and a wonderful stay in paradise!!!

Had a perfect weekend in this beatiful Bed and Breakfast. The hostess was so welcoming and accomodating and was the biggest reason in why we had a great weekend. We stayed in the Green Room, but spent plenty of time outside, just sitting on the terrace looking at the beautfiul scenery that surrounds the house. Leaving it was sad, but... More

We stayed 2 days in February and we can't say enough about this winter wonderland. All the other reviews are right on in their description of the property. We had a winter storm while we were there and Regine went above and beyond in every way possible to ensure we had an enchanting and romantic stay in this quaint Connecticut... More
