We stayed one night in a superior category room in the main inn. The inn itself is beautifully decorated with nice touches everywhere. The staff were attentive and pleasant. Our room was spacious and clean with couch, arm chair, writing table, full dresser, four poster bed with canopy and night stands. The bathroom had two sinks with a large tub...

Back in the mid-2000s, the Mayflower was an amazing place -- a hotel that felt like a rich relative's luxurious country house, complete with lovely art on the walls, beautiful objects and little touches in the rooms and public spaces, real log fires, flowers and the most comfortable beds, linens and towels you could imagine. It was magical; very expensive...

Our teenage daughters were staying with friends for the winter break so my husband and I took the opportunity to play "empty nesters" for a couple of days. The 2-1/2 hr drive from Boston was easy and upon our arrival we were greeted with two delicious and greatly appreciated flutes of blush sparkling wine. We had arrived early so we...

I came to the Mayflower Grace for a weekend getaway and it was a lovely experience. The staff was gracious and welcoming, the suite was spacious and well-decorated, and the spa was truly stunning (both the services and the facility - stay for lunch and order the lobster roll)! Loved the live piano at the restaurant during dinner and the...

Everything was absolutely 5 star. The accommodations were beautiful antiques. The in room amenities top notch. Service and friendliness of staff superb, and the grounds were picturesque. The spa was world class. Couldn't recommend the deep blue lavender massage more! I couldn't stop treating myself to another hydrotherapy circuit! And I honestly can't remember a time I have enjoyed such...

Beautiful hotel with old world charm. A perfect escape from NYC or Boston. Litchfield Co. CT is perfect for any time of year- each season renewing my interest. The room was the perfect balance between classic beauty and contemporary functionality. The food service rivals the best in the city. But what sets this place apart from most other luxury hotels...

I've wanted to go to this hotel for 13 years, long before it was part of the Mayflower collection, but it just never happened. When the opportunity suddenly presented itself one weekend in September, I jumped at the chance and was very excited. All that ended once we got to the room and sadly, continued throughout our brief, one-night stay....

We were in town and stopped for lunch. We were so impressed with how beautiful the grounds are. There is even a separate building for the spa! Inside was decorated beautifully for the holidays. The staff was lovely and the food was incredible!

Located in a most beautiful part of Connecticut... filled with antique shops, roadside stands, etc. Beautiful drive. Pulling up to the Inn you feel immediate peace. The grounds are lovely!! Inside you are warmly welcomed like an old friend. The rooms are just beyond gorgeous... depending on which you choose, you could have a large soaking tub, gas fireplace (to...

We had lunch and a facial. My mom and I went because, yes, we are huge Gilmore Girls fans and wanted to see what the real Stars Hollow is like. Well this place made me feel like a princess. We definitely splurged, we are not eating out for a month but it was worth it.
