After spending ½ hour driving around Beaufort, we finally located the B&B, then we couldn’t locate the host as she was enjoying the sun out the back. We were given a rather small room which was quite disappointing as we were staying there 3 nights. The shower was so small that you could hardly turn around and the towels did...

We had a lovely stay at the purple Heather, the rooms were small but had everything you needed in them - tea/coffee maker, wardrobe, comfy bed and ensuite bathroom - and were kept very clean. The breakfasts were delicious with a surprisingly wide variety of foods to choose from! The hosts were very friendly and ready to answer any questions...

Price, location and breakfast were great. The host was warm and friendly to our family. Would certainly recommend and stay here again. There are a lot of great sites in the area. The Ring of Kerry is a great drive when the weather cooperates!

Tim was a great host with his local knowledge and charm. He gave us some good insights for visiting the gap of Dunloe and solid advice for the Ring of Kerry. The location is a 15 minute drive outside Killarney so not ideal if you want to go out for a drink in town. It's a great spot to cost...

The thing we liked the best was being able to sit in the front room in the evening to check our emails, read, play games. Nora & Tim are gracious hosts and make more than just your room available for their guests. The breakfast was made to order especially for us each morning. I especially liked receiving freshly made coffee...

I enjoyed my stay here very much! The couple was lovely, room was comfortable, and food was yummy. Stayed two nights, 1 day. A late flight and late train got me in at nearly 10:30pm, and they were still up waiting for me and welcomed me warmly. They called my climbing guide (a friend of theirs) when I arrived to...

Despite a beautiful setting, we were disappointed with this B&B. The room was cold at night. The folded bath towels left for us were still damp, and there was no soap in the shower. (We used the hand soap in a dispenser from the sink). Then in the morning, in a country where dairy products are great and reasonably priced,...

Cute B & b. we had to move rooms the second night because a family needed the bigger room. The rooms were very clean and comfy. Tim and Nora were lovely hosts and cooked breakfast to order (eggs, bacon etc) also cereal and juice available. Very close to gap of Dunloe and about 10mim drive from Killarney. Perfect place for...

The hosts are very gentle and nice. The position is also very special near to the Gap of Dunloe and in the middle of the travel places of interest. Rooms are nice and with space. Breakfast is homemade and if you need directions Tim and Nora are always available. Excellent value for money.

After a few problems booking a room via hostelworld (was not the purple heathers fault) we had the best stay here! Tim helps us with everything, starting with the booking problems, over a huge ammount of advices what to see in Killarney up to a transport and picking-up service for our "last minute" gap of dunloe trip. Never had a...
