We stayed in two different hotels in Myeik before we luckily booked two nights in Regent Hotel. While Grand Jade Hotel was an absolutely horrible stay (don’t go there!), Eain Taw Phyu Hotel was ok, but not overwhelmingly good. Regent Hotel was certainly the best hotel we stayed at in Myeik. Rooms were super cozy, breakfast was great and the staff really went the extra mile. Their English was at a really high level and they were able to book our desired bus ride to Kawthaung while the travel agency (life seeing) had told us there were no seats left (also the hotel didn’t charge a service fee). If you want to have an enjoyable stay in Myeik, make sure to stay at the Regent Hotel!

Great place with great price. We stayed 4 days here. Breakfast is good. Many foods to choose. Mostly , they have many traditional deserts. Clean and best price for what we have. Good location. Not far from the city center or harbor. Only 10/15 mins drive.

Best breakfast in taste and variety I have had in Myanmar. Staff are ready to inform you on what best to eat. Very good mohinga is a staple with all the condiments and very tasty. Kaukswe and local lethoe is also available together morning sticky rice and other sweets accompanied by fresh grated coconut and pounded sesame. Hotel is new/ modern, quiet, big pool and rooms are clean and spacious with in-bath shower in my room. Staff are very attentive. Hotel grounds are like little green oasis and is walkable to town but the quiet location overrides need to be closer to city centre. I would rate Myeik highly for it food, culture and its emerging ecotourism in particular a hotel orgsnised day speedboat tour (swimming snorkeling, lunch and sightseeing) of the Islands for those planning a shorter stay. I recommend Myeik Yandarnapone speedboat they have a great crew especially the helpful Min Aung.

We stayed 4 days and 3 nights at Regent Hotel. Service and room quality was excellent given the price range. The pool was an added bonus. Breakfast was very good and showcased the many local cuisines as well as a very good dessert spread

Good hotel with facilities. Staffs speak English well. Rooms are clean. Nice swimming pool with good food too. Only suggestion would be it would be better to put name stands on traditional food especially local snacks or desserts, we can be familiar with the names.

A new hotel in a relatively quiet location. The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is set back from the main road so the rooms are quiet and vehicle access is good. Pickup and dropoff at the airport is available. The standout feature is the breakfast which is in the top level restaurant. There is a wide range of traditional Myanmar dishes, particularly soups, plus (rice flour) pancakes, fruit and various local sweets. The menu varies daily and the staff are very helpful in showing foreigners how to assemble a Myanmar soup dish. On the minus side, the location is a bit far from town and from the jetty and the water-side restaurant area.

Not sure why its only ** on booking.com. Rooms are nice and spacious, decent size pool. Staff are very helpful only sometimes speaking a bit poor English. Breakfast very nice and broad choice of European and Asian food. We would surely recommend a stay there. Not likely you gonna be able to get anything better. Very good value for money.

This is a very new hotel. It is very modern and clean and the pool is lovely. The beds are comfortable and it provides all necessary amenities. The hotel is not really walking distance from the restaurants in town but you can get a tuk tuk for 3000 kwats. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast is great with a good selection and a nice view.

+ very clean, very new + very nice staff + beautiful pool, also open at nighttime - location is a far off the center, not nice to walk to a restaurant, nice restaurants are quite a bit away - taxi needed to get to the town centre - the bed was a bit soft, so I decided to put the mattress on the floor and had a very nice sleep
