This was our first time camping here. We had site 431 right by the little pond. Great size site, and we caught 6 bass in that little pond. Staff was great, polite, always smiling and waving. It did get louder on the weekends which didn't bother us at all, but the staff does come around and tell people to quiet down which is good. All around a great stay. We will return.

We've stayed here a few times and we are never disappointed. There is the perfect mix of laid back, outdoor relaxing along with fun activities and 2 pools to cool off. The facilities are clean, the campground is well maintained and everyone is friendly. We stayed in the train cabin this time and it was worth the $$. It was clean, has AC and a full bath. It was a great combo of camping in comfort. There are sites for everyone. Close to the action, group sites, primitive or private does for tenting or RVs.

My husband and I have been seasonal campers before, so we know what it’s like to have a safe place to always go too, we decided to purchase a travel trailer to explore the many camp grounds that is across the states and enjoy the moment and travel..we came across Nature’s Campsite. The staff was wonderful especially Andrea !! No complaint in that department!! The pool was a little hectic with a lot of children running around the pool ( which being an EMT) wasn’t too keen on due to the dangers of no rules or control. The sites can be on top of each other. My complaint in all this is the owner. We had a visitor ( my brother in law) that came to visit for a couple of night was staying on our site we had a small camper and he had a no/ contain bus the same size as our F150 registered as a commercial vehicle that he was going to sleep in, instead of a tent. Which made it 3 adults total. We paid 60.00 a night , for 4 days plus his 30.00 for his 2 night stay. Everyone in office understood and was helpful. The owner came down unhappy and did not want to hear anything that was being told other then he didn’t care because he was the owner . We are all in our late 40/50 we were not teenagers causing a ruckus but felt like we weren’t being heard and made to feel like we did something wrong. Unfortunately we left early and did not complete our stay..We belong to an RV group that does a lot of traveling and will just continue to try many different places 😁 but will not be returning to this place for he embarrassed myself in front of other people that were watching and could hear him when he wasn’t pleasant with us.

Natures Campgrounds in Voluntown Connecticut: To the owner of the campground; your employees made an error, not me. Please address it with them and do not take it out on your customers. The staff misrepresented the rules of the owner. I came to visit my brother in my converted school bus. I was given a (camper) pink pad instead of a visitor (yellow) we went to go shopping. when we returned I notice the bus wasn't plugged into the outlet (only have a fan running for my dog, it was 85 and humid.) the cord for the bus was wrapped around my mirror. the owner of the camp ground shows up 2 min later and explains that campground(he) dose not allow 2 campers on one site. This was not said to us when I got here. if that was the case... I would have not stayed here at all. For $60 a nite, you can't use electric to power a fan. I was told that I want to stay here, I would have to park my bus on the out side the main gate. I understand that everyone has rules.... I just didn't care for the way he notified us of his rules that where not explained to me upon arrival. The owner was arrogant and self centered. word for word "I own this place and this is the way it's going to be!" As for the place in my opinion.... this is the Central Falls of camp grounds. the bathrooms are dirty and full of cob/spider webs and the property is not maintaind. The Staff is nice, but the owner needs a serious attitude adjustment. he has lost a customer. I will never come here again. I will pass on my review of this place everytime someone asks me about it. [ if you have any more questions (the general public or the owner of the property. please call me 401-391-7069)

The rating is based on the initial impression (entry sign) and seasonal sites that need upkeep. The sign pole needs a good painting. Many trailers on seasonal sites need a good cleaning. The office and store was very clean and the campground personnel were very nice and accommodating. The campground is very wooded and while some sites are close there is enough room between. The fire pits were all built with huge rocks with tall backs. The playground area is new with bocce and shuffleboard. It was very nice. There is a paintball area on the other side of the park and you could hear some of the activity but not bad at all. The campground is a half mile from the state forest with lots of hiking trails. We would go back again.

We went over Memorial Day weekend and enjoyed the time with family & friends. Pool was open and clean. Some picnic tables need replacing, sites were clean. Had an electrical issue that they took care of right away. Will go again

I take exception to the review from Katie who stayed in March of 2016. I had camped at this Campground for 10 years before becoming a seasonal. 2015 was my first summer season. When our camper arrived Nate was there to make sure all went well. We were welcomed by Nate and his family, and as many seasonal people we met last year. Our street is all seasonals and have met many more. All have been friendly and never ever has anyone been rude to me, nor have I seen another seasonal camper be rude. I'm very sorry this camper had a bad experience because this is a wonderful secluded clean Campground. There is entertainment each weekend for children and adults. DJ's, bands, crafts, hayrides and immaculate pools. Hope they will reconsider and try this Campground again.

We recently enjoyed our family outing at Nature's Campsite. The grandkids loved it. The place was spotless and awesome. Love the river canoeing and the pools were sparkling!! The Staff was helpful and very pleasant. This place is huge. Woodsy. And very relaxing.

We stayed here in a tent for 2 nights, with 2 adults and 2 children. The setup of the campground is pretty good, with lots of wooded area and the 2 pools are awesome! The staff was also pretty friendly. But that's where the compliments end. The bathrooms were pretty outdated and dirty. Also apparently people are allowed to stay up partying, blasting music, screaming and drinking till all hours of the nights, well beyond quiet hours. I thought that this was supposed to be family friendly? The main thing that will keep me from coming back is the SEASONAL CAMPERS! Firstly, I hate campgrounds that have way too many seasonal campers, that would include this campground. Secondly, I can handle the volume of seasonal campers if they are at least friendly and respectful. My family found that the seasonal campers here made it VERY clear that traveling campers were not welcome at this campground. They act like they own the place and everyone else is just there to annoy them. We will NOT be back! The only reason I gave 2 stars were some of the friendly staff (maintenance guys) and the 2 pools.

My wife and I went here for a weekend getaway and for the first time we spent a little extra money on a cabin. That was a mistake. We probably would have had less spiders crawling on us if we slept under the stars. It looked to me like no one ever did any maintenance anywhere in the campground. Putting it nicely it was very rustic. The bathrooms and showers were dirty. Both of the pools were filled with bugs. When we tried to escape for a while in a canoe it started leaking. Not to mention the river was green as could be. Such a shame that our first cabin experience had to be this way. We went after labor day so im not sure if they just let it go because the season was over or what. I am sure that we will not return!
