Wow, did you know Connecticut has its own little city? You best wear your comfy shoes! Overall, I give it a 4/5 and would visit again! Pros: It is filled to the brim with restaurants, shops, casino games, and more! The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms very well appointed, and everything felt very safe as there are guards who check key cards before anyone uses the elevators to the rooms. There are a lot of shows upcoming that I would have loved to see, like Pentatonix and others, but there is always something going on! You won't be bored!!!! Plus, it has Chik Fil A and Johnny Rocket which we don't have in Alaska so I loved getting my fix! Cons: We enjoyed it very much although the slots were a bit tighter than I'm used to when I go to Vegas. I still left happy, though! My husband enjoyed the blackjack tables though most of them started at $25 a hand which makes it hard to sit there for awhile. The room service was a bit iffy and we spent the day after our arrival with our room service button lit however still had to call down for towels. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Mohegan Sun!

Two nights at my favorite casino for my Birthday. The biggest surprise was they upgraded our room to a corner suite (not because of my Birthday either). Room service was efficient, polite and quick. The suite was indescribable, 1 and 1/2 bathrooms, walk in closet, bathroom with both shower and a tub with a window view. Did I mention corner room? Living room was spacious with a fireplace and shared with a round table and chairs to eat meals. Might I suggest including a microwave to reheat cooled coffee or leftovers. I also would like to add, the remote was hard to use, old maybe?? Very slow to scroll on the guide. Coffee in the room was actually better tasting than the pot we ordered from room service. Just my opinion. Ate at Tom’s where the drinks were spot on and the apps were plentiful. Now on to the machines. It’s been a long while since I visited Mohegan so imagine my surprise when I couldn’t find my favorites. If I saw one more Buffalo machine or an Asian machine I think I’d scream. I hate to admit this but Foxwoods has a better variety of machines and not the 100’s of the ones I already mentioned. All in all, I still give this a thumbs up and highly recommend staying here, will definitely come back.

Mohegan Sun, is an excellent facility everything was good, service customer service and free parking. I played slots only on this trip, I am not a big gambler only issue was the room was not vacuumed when it was cleaned but in fairness you have to ask according to the front desk. I ate Italian the first night, and it was a bit pricey paying out of your pocket instead of points. I found the Hash House to be a perfect meal for your money and would recommend it.

The casino is awesome and usually have a great experience at the hotel. However, my last stay I received a voicemail from front desk stating a $500 charge was being added as they received an alert there was smoke in my room. I do not smoke and no candles were used, the smoke detector they install in the room clearly malfunctioned. This was stated to the manager, Charisse. Instead of putting the customer first, and quickly removing the charge, which should be the expectation, we were told their machines do not malfunction? That is laughable as absolutely no smoke was in our room! In fact, another guest, who said they do not smoke, was at desk complaining about same message they received. At first we were told, that after we check out, they would inspect the room and refund the $500 charge, we stated we would not check out until the room was inspected. Charisse finally agreed to come up to the room - we opened the door and as clearly no smoke was detected, she immediately said the $500 would be removed. We did not receive an apology. The assumption from the staff is we were guilty and no possibility the machine malfunctioned. This is not the way you treat people. The staff should be better trained to work with people and not make assumptions.

Our family of 4 stayed at Mohegan Sun over Memorial Day. On the last day of our trip, we got a call from a hotel manager saying their digital sensor picked up smoking in the room. We absolutely did not smoke in the room and asked for them to come up and test with another sensor. They wouldn't and told us we were being charged $500 because their sensor is 100% accurate. We spoke with a manager who was extremely rude and didn't care if we reported this issue. Needless to say, being unilaterally charged $500 for something we didn't do is very upsetting. In all my years of travel, this has never happened to us. Warning to guests that this could happen to you!

We stayed in the Earth Tower in a corner suite on the 7th floor. One of the rooms with no adjacent neighbors which we selected on purpose. Word to the wise, make your reservation by calling rather than online because we ended up looking over the expansive rooftop hotel of the casino. Gotta love that view. Any lower and it would have been far worse but for what we paid I would have expected a higher floor. More problematic was the very erratic heating/cooling system in our suite. If you put it on 70, it would blast hot air to the point of being ridiculously hot. But if you set it to 69 the room would get downright frigid. Because of this, we requested extra blankets since our first night was so chilly with no middle ground on temp. There were no extra blankets in the room despite it having a pull-out sofa. So we did end up getting three very ratty and stringy blankets brought up to us the next day.
On the plus side, the water pressure in the shower was great. But they really need to do something about that wacky room thermostat.

I used to love going to Mohegan for a free night or two and enjoy their food, entertainment, and gambling. However, they no longer seem to offer free rooms to for their Momentum members. I've looked out as far as December and the rooms are rather expensive - some as much as $300 mid-week (not including taxes and resort fees). I don't think I'll be going there again anytime soon. I can stay local and drive to Encore within 30 minutes.

They are sent out two months in advance and based off your play from the last twelve months. We stayed in the newer Earth Tower, which has convenient access to the whole of the casino without feeling isolated. We really enjoyed the clean rooms, along with the brightly lit bathroom and nice bedding. This is a fun place to stay with family or friends if you’re in the area.

Wife and I stayed a Mohegan Sun for 2 nights. We found our room very clean and spacious, bathroom was missing hooks to hang towels. Casino is well layed out, you actually walk around the whole casino with some branching out. They could use more signs to where restaurants are located and more casual dining establishments. I highly recommend staying there, if you are flying into the T.F Green, it's an hour ride by uber but well worth it.

I’m absolutely beside myself. We woke up in the morning to see we had a messages saying that someone smoked in the room and we were being charged $500. Neither my wife or I smoke, or of course our 12 yr old daughter. we believe it was from our daughters body spray or perfume that set it off. We asked the front desk to remove the charge but they undoubtedly said “we smoked” and the smoking detectors are 100% accurate. On top of there was a pregnant woman speaking to someone with the same issue and they were neither refunding her. Totally ridiculous. If not refunded we will be taking legal action. I will never spend another dime in this resort.
