Our 10/11/15 Wedding Day was PERFECT! The price was very reasonable given that we had a Sunday wedding. We booked the venue almost a year prior and by the time it came to having to plan details with the LTM i was kind of spent, and this is where the LTM team excels. Jackie and Andrew (owners) were incredible. Jackie... More

Did I mention it was unbelievable? This is a beautiful setting---a small sign on the road at the driveway with just the address and name---drive up winding driveway thru the woods---then greeted by the valet to park your car... the grounds are in the woods and buildings are old BUT well kept and up to date and very impressive---we were... We have just spent the weekend here at the Lord Thompson for our close friends wedding. Our stay was perfect from start to finish, with the attention to detail being of the best I've ever experienced. We were 140 guests and the food, wine & organisation at the manor seemed seamlessly fluid for the entire 3 days.. The grounds and... More

This manor is right out of a postcard. Recently attended a wedding here and it truly was the most spectacular wedding I have ever been too. It was a three day event for our family - rehearsal dinner, wedding and brunch. The food and service was impeccable. The wait staff and host very professional and extremely courteous. The grounds and... More

What a beautiful property! Everything about Lord Thompson Manor is so great- the grounds are beautiful, the food is fantastic and the rooms are very comfortable. The outside patio has a few fire pits which were really nice and there's a fun "bonus"room downstairs with a big TV and pool table. Most importantly, the staff is amazing! They really go... More

We had a fantastic party last night. The service and food were the best I've experienced. The atmosphere was perfect with three fireplaces blazing. This is a must experience place right off route 395. The waiter also sang a few Christmas songs for us and he was amazing.

My husband and I were married here in August 2010. People that attended the wedding still say that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. From the people, to the food, to the ambiance. You name it... it was all amazing. The owners Andrew and Jackie are incredible. From the first moment you meet them, they make... More

We stayed 2 nights here in February 2013. It is the most gorgeous place we've haver stayed at and since we were updated to the wedding suite (due to painting of our cottage room), it was even better! Also, the location was great as we were visitng the Marianapolis Prep School which is super close. Ted (who works there) was... More

We were fortunate enough to attend a 2 day wedding here over this past weekend. It was an amazing experience! Between the beautiful manor, the grounds and the food, this was undoubtedly one of the best weddings I have ever attended. The manor (house) is gorgeous. The woodworking, mouldings and lights were exquisite. The custom built-ins, several bars, the large... More

Thank you very much for the awesome review! Many people we've talked to have found it helpful, and we're glad your experience was memorable. We've noted your comment about the humidity and want to clarify for readers that we do have air conditioning. It’s also worth noting that most Brides & Grooms want us to keep all of our doors...
