This is the second time I stayed here. This is a budget motel with a wonderful location. It is a 2 story building. I had a king on the lower level. Last time I had a room on the upper. There is no elevator. The lower level is still raised off the ground and there are about 8 steps up...

This place is a hidden gem! It is not for those who demand glitz and the perfection of high-end hotels. This 2nd or 3rd generation family busts their rear end to make for a safe, clean, enjoyable stay. To bring the full picture to light, one must walk into the restaurant and look at the historical photo montage on the...

The Rodeway Inn Stratford is an unusual hotel in several ways. At first glance, it looks like a low end motel with a bar/restaurant with zero ambiance. From the parking lot, the rooms with exterior entrances look like a converted loading dock. Most of the rooms are located off an interior corridor – narrow and smelling slightly of cigarette smoke....

I really liked staying here. The room is big and spacious and the beds are comfy. The bathroom is nice and my only complaint about this place is that the Hot water is very spotty at times. Tv is nice and you get alot of channels which I enjoyed. The breakfeast is decent and the housekeeping is good. The front desk...

If you accept that you are choosing to stay at an older motor inn with a very low rate, you should enjoy this lodging. This inn is located on right on Long lsland Sound in the quaint village of Lordship. It is physically connected to a locals favorite restaurant named Marnicks. Yes, the place is dated but is reasonably well...

Stayed for two nights after an hectic road trip. Large room overlooking the sea. Very comfortable. Good value and just what we needed. Restaurant on site meant we didn't need our car at all. Food ok and reasonable. Breakfast basic but included. Waitresses were a bit off hand at breakfast when we said we wanted included breakfast. Overall nice place...

This cozy gem overlooking the sea is a dated but comfortable place to stay. The rooms are partially updated - new bathrooms and flat screen tvs - but old wallpaper and patio doors. Beds are comfortable and staff was friendly. The included continental breakfast was not great. I'd rather pay more and get a decent meal. Overall, a nice spot.

Was completely surprised at the location and view of this hotel. It is right on the Long Island Sound and has a cute little beach right in front of it. The attached restaraunt and bar was an added feature and Mike the bartender there was great. The rooms are dated but comfortable& the one we were in was rather large....

We took the last 2 rooms available and they were smoking, ugh! We are not smokers but we chose to make the best of it. Unfortunately, the rooms not only smelled bad but were very dirty. Hair and sand in the bed. Dust and dirt on the heating baseboards, lamp shades and ceiling. Light switches were filthy. We just felt...

This is a lovely little spot, popular and cherished by locals. It was nice to be off the I-95 drag and on the sound. It's not fancy, but clean, quiet and perfect for the price. Beautiful view of the water as well as the seawall and lighthouse at the end... We loved the restaurant and this corner of CT. The...
