Hi. I stayed here this summer. the hotel does give a breakfast in the morning which is nice. And the rooms are pretty clean. However occasionally they have an issue with roaches and if you complain about it they blame you for it.

Last minute trip to Stamford, CT and while many colleagues stayed downtown, I saw this deal and grabbed it. And I would do it again... Rooms are clean, service is very professional; and breakfast included

The foyer and breakfast room are very charming. The hotel room has seen better days, as evidenced by the gold fixtures in the bathroom. There are a few nicks in the furniture and wrinkles in the rug, but the price reflects it. The staff was exceptional! We requested extra coffee and pillows and they were promptly sent up. Then we discovered the coffee maker didn’t work and they brought us a different one. Jonathan at the front desk was very friendly too. I was also impressed with the woman in the breakfast room. She looked so professional in a black skirt and black and white shirt and was working hard to keep everything ship shape. There were even fresh flowers on every table! So bottom line, it could use some TLC in some respects, but what you expect for the price. My main concern is cleanliness and it was clean.

My husband and I stayed here for a night when we came to see a local band perform in the area. The hotel is pretty decent - fairly clean rooms, centrally located, and polite staff. We had to change rooms because the ceiling light kept flickering and wouldn't turn off all the way, and the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a couple of days, so the staff promptly moved us to a nicer room.

Somewhere between three and four stars for this property. It is located in Downtown Stamford and is a brisk walk (1 mile) or a cheap Uber ride to the Stamford Metro North Station into NYC. This also means that the hotel is off of I-95, for all that is good and bad about that. Throughout the hotel, the decor is dated but not overly kitsch or dusty. There's a chandelier made of plastic, vases, and nice rugs in the lobby. The person at the front desk was friendly and did his best to accommodate my request to not be near an elevator or stairs. The hotel is relatively well designed for when it was likely built with plenty of parking, floors designed for privacy, and a couple of elevators. My room was relatively large with plenty of storage space, a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, ironing supplies, drawers, and an alarm clock. No safe. The bed was okay in terms of comfort but whatever is being used to launder the sheets and blankets irritated my skin. There was a table with two chairs near the window. The chairs were significantly lower than the table and it was a little uncomfortable to work on the computer there. The furniture style was faux colonial but everything was in reasonably good condition. As stated, two sides of this hotel face I-95 and there was a constant whirl of highway noise in my room. It wasn't super loud, but it was there. Otherwise, this is a quiet property. The landscape from my window was typical for a Connecticut coastal city, which is to say poorly planned, urban, and industrial. The bathroom was very clean. Housekeeping here is very good. I was brought extra towels without asking for them. WiFi worked very well. There is a Taco Bell next door and a gas station/convenience store across the street. Lots of parking. I used the parking under the hotel without problems. It has its own elevator. Downsides? The room had a drop ceiling and some of the panels, especially where they met wall, had holes in them. I would stay here again.
