Travelling to the Salisbury/Lakeville area for a party, we needed a good spot to stay, but for just 2 nights. White Hart, Interlaken, etc. demanded at least 3 nights in season. Lucky for us we found the Early Grey. Charming, erudite and informed hosts, wonderful breakfasts on the porch, and comfy beds. The only thing we didn't care for was... More

We were told about this place by some friends. It was really wonderful, our hosts , Patricia And Dick are delightful, We had the best yummy breakfast, the omelette was the best I have ever had, with bits of crispy bacon hidden inside, and delicious cinnamon and apple cake, as a naughty treat. Very comfy bed, and spacious elegant space... More

We had beautifully relaxing night at a perfect hideaway. The room was just what we needed. Carol was so helpful and accommodating. We will defiantly tell our friends back home on Cape Cod. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Stayed two nights in the first floor separate entrance suite with its own front porch - amid a myriad of flowers. Gracious world-traveled hosts. A two-minute walk to the center of town. Ecelctic furnishings - interesting artwork - wonderful breakfast in this 1850's house. Definitely would return.

Recently stayed here as my girlfriend and I were in the area for a wedding. We were looking for a fun bed and breakfast that really represented the charm of the surrounding area. The Earl Grey was exactly what we were looking for. It's a cozy, quaint property in a convenient location. The rooms and gardens are immaculate, and there's... More

My wife and I stayed at the Earl Grey in early March, when the weather was decidedly brisk outside. Inside, the opposite: the suite we stayed in was warm and cozy, with a four poster bed in a beautifully decorated bedroom, with an adjoining sitting room furnished with comfortable chairs for reading. The single cup coffee maker was an added... More

Our night's sleep was completely ruined (so was the next day, from exhaustion) by loud chimes EVERY 15 MINUTES ALL NIGHT at the adjacent town library. I hoped they'd cease at midnight. Ha! Wear your watch to bed so you can follow along 12:15; 12:30; 12:45; 1:00 (extra chimes on each hour!); 1:15; .... 2:30; .... 3:45; 4:00; 4:15; 4:30....... More

"Sleepless" has found fault in that the chimes on the village library's clock had kept him awake all night. This is the first time in our 20 years of operating the Earl Grey B&B that anyone has complained about the library's chimes. We have also contacted our business colleagues in town, one of whom lives four doors away from the... More

We were royally entertained by our splendid hosts Richard and Patricia. Our guest cottage rooms were well equipped and comfortable. The setting of the house was beautiful and filled with bird song. Patricia's breakfasts were excellent and they were most helpful in suggesting interesting places to visit. It was our first experience of New England hospitality and one which we... More
