Our stay at Le Domaine de Tam Hai was the unquestionable highlight of our recent holiday in Vietnam and Thailand. It offers beautiful surroundings, wonderful food, delightfully attentive but not overbearing service, style, informality - and very reasonable prices.
I would recommend, without hesitation, Le...More
Wow - the photos do not provide the wonderful scenery and beautiful villas that this island has to offer. Paradise is the only word that comes to mind instantly! Firstly I used a website 'travel agency' which is the worst I have every used and...More
We went to Le Domaine de Tam Hai for our honeymoon and we fell in love with it. Simple, tranquil, and beautiful...

My husband and I are on a 6-month honeymoon around the world, and Le Domaine has been the most amazing place we've been to by far on this trip (and in our whole lives). There are only 12 bungalows on the entire island, which means...More
My wife & I stayed for 5 nights on a "second honeymoon" - everything about this tiny 12 villa resort was superb - the service (at one stage we were the only guests, with 42 staff attending to our every need!), the food, the wine...More

Hi Wendy, Forgive me for replying I got an email from Trip Advisor asking me to look and answer if I could.. We visited in Feb 2015. The pool is medium size, however it is a very quiet resort so its pretty likely there will only be 4 or so people around the pool. There are good sunbeds and you are right next to the bar, so it is all just fine. Great views as well.
The food is all cooked by a local Vietnamese cook who lives in the village close by. They have a good choice on nice menu, its not massive, but that is due to location. But we stayed 4 nights and had something different every evening. So the style is like all vietnamese cooking, it is fresh, mainly chicken, beef and fish. Hard to fault Oh and the Breakfast is fantastic, you can choose vietnamese or English, we did go for English and we just couldn't change it was so good, the best we have had in Vietnam, easily
We loved our 4 days here, and the Villas are brilliant. We would certainly go back again if we in this area again. If you have any other question please fire away.
i also wrote this on my website, which I am not allowed to link! Its Vietnamonholiday com and it is the 2nd entry down.. I have just noticed there is a picture of the swimming pool on there as well. My wife is in red and I am behind her with hat and sunglasses on. It is the friendliest Island in the world, I am sure about that, it is amazing so try and find time to go out if you can because, everyone, but everyone, will say hello.
