We had a great experience in Tam Hai, Catherine and all the staff received us very well. She explained us everything about the island and the possibilities, we used for free the kayak and we fished in the beached with local people and also we took the bikes to move around, we

Well from the moment we arrived we thought this place was divine. The sky was a stunning blue, the villas were large with huge indoor/outdoor bathrooms, a palm fringed pool to die for (the water is deliciously warm) and it was so, so quiet. I really ought to make it clear that

What can I say? I want to keep the place secret so I have it all to myself, but then I want it to be successful so it can continue in business. I was looking for somewhere I could return to again and again following my retirement and selected 4 places along the coast of Vietnam

Thank you so much for such a lovely review! It was an absolute pleasure to host both you and your wife for your holiday and we very much look forward to your return (the new four poster villa is all yours)! We are really glad that you appreciated the steps we are making to reduce waste on the island - small steps, but we are taking the same sustainable approach to improve our menu offerings. Presently many of the dishes we offer involve ingredients that are unavailable on the island, so there are big changes at foot as we partner with island farmers, fishermen and the island baker so that every dish on our menu reflects where we are located and changes seasonally with whats on offer. We've also changed our wine supplier and have introduced a couple of very good by the glass options at 70,000d a pop (we remember you asking) and a sunset happy hour. Best of all, now the new bridges in Hoi An are finally open we are able to transfer our guests via a new scenic route to the island in under an hour. That improved accessibility should hopefully make it an option for a day trip - though we still recommend people tick that off as a separate destination and use us as a place to escape from the madness. I'd personally like to thank you for your honest feedback during your stay. The staff have been working relentlessly to make everything work behind the scenes, but due to the climate, the salt water, the isolated location and the occasional things that get lost in translation there will always be small hic-ups. Having the opportunity to fix these things immediately or to be given the challenge to try something new (like introducing our cooks to gluten-free cooking) to improve your experience is invaluable to us. Thank you, and see you again!

We stayed her with our 2 children (2 and 4 years old) for 4 nights and wish we had longer. We loved our stay. Very easy to reach from Chu Lai airport with taxi taking less than 30 mins to reach ferry dock. Speed boat ride to resort great fun with big smiles from the children.

Hi Wendy, Forgive me for replying I got an email from Trip Advisor asking me to look and answer if I could.. We visited in Feb 2015. The pool is medium size, however it is a very quiet resort so its pretty likely there will only be 4 or so people around the pool. There are good sunbeds and you are right next to the bar, so it is all just fine. Great views as well. The food is all cooked by a local Vietnamese cook who lives in the village close by. They have a good choice on nice menu, its not massive, but that is due to location. But we stayed 4 nights and had something different every evening. So the style is like all vietnamese cooking, it is fresh, mainly chicken, beef and fish. Hard to fault Oh and the Breakfast is fantastic, you can choose vietnamese or English, we did go for English and we just couldn't change it was so good, the best we have had in Vietnam, easily We loved our 4 days here, and the Villas are brilliant. We would certainly go back again if we in this area again. If you have any other question please fire away. i also wrote this on my website, which I am not allowed to link! Its Vietnamonholiday com and it is the 2nd entry down.. I have just noticed there is a picture of the swimming pool on there as well. My wife is in red and I am behind her with hat and sunglasses on. It is the friendliest Island in the world, I am sure about that, it is amazing so try and find time to go out if you can because, everyone, but everyone, will say hello. Regards Paul
