Stunning location, modern villas with some balinese touch with own pools and an infinite big pool in front of the cliff and ocean. Super quiet place in Seraya to spend a few days in pure silence, for Yoga and massages, great breakfast and good dishes. Nice owners managing the villas with a friendly family stuff giving a feeling to be home. Crossing fingers Seraya remains a jewel in Bali, quiet, local with stunning views over the ocean till Lombok.

The resort deserves a 5 star for its outstanding staff, services and atmosphere. We stayed at the Sea Villa with Private Pool and Outdoor Space. We had ample spaces and privacy with amazing ocean view. It was tricky to get here due to Google map taking us through an old and narrow path in the forest.

Third visit to Shunyata.First since the pandemic. Found the villas as good as ever, every standard had been maintained ;the rooms, the service, the food and the welcome. The gardens and the pool as enticing as ever. The walks through the local village of Seriya very vertically challenging but made fun by the kindness of the locals to strangers. The more we come here the more we love it- it’s not a place to do -it’s a place to come and just chill. The staff are all outstanding and the goats and (Indian runner)ducks all add to the charm.

Perfect location for people searching for a relaxing vacation in a quiet corner of Bali but don’t need a beach. Very flexible, attentive, and warm staff. Very clean, pool which is longer than usual. Astonishing views.We stayed in Ocean View Villa and in Sea Villa and both are spacious and decorated individually.

Upon departure, we found out that the shuttle transport to the nearest beach as well as the yoga lessons were charged to us - without us being informed about this in advance verbally (by the staff) or in writing (through the hotel's own brochures). While the costs for additional meals and the airport shuttle, for example, were transparently communicated to us in advance and only booked with our consent, the above-mentioned costs were not mentioned to us at any time. When checking out, we tried in vain to describe to the employee on site that these invoice items have come about without our knowledge and we feel cheated out of the money (1,660k IDR = 107€), he just said "sorry" several times and still held out the card reader to us. In the aftermath I wrote to the hotel 2x and asked for feedback, both times I received no answer. A more than disappointing end to our honeymoon!…

Based on your case, we would like to let you know that we did not receive any e-mails which is why we cannot help you with it. According to your reservation from Booking.com, it is only room & breakfast included. It means if you take any extra services from us, it must be charged. We are not sure where you see that our yoga classes are free of charge. You may see on our website states that we have a free shuttle service to Virgin Beach BUT it is when you booked at least 3 nights and booked directly to us. Related to your case, your reservation was booked through Booking.com. Hopefully, this clarification will satisfy your matters. Room excellent, staff proactively clean the room pool area toilet about 2 times a day Food at the restaurant always fresh and delicious Far from main city but if you stay for 3 days or more you should be able to manage Me and wife thoroughly enjoyed this place and I highly recommend it.

Despite 7 or 8 visits to the north and east of Bali, this was our first visit to Seraya. Five minutes drive out of the village down to the coast brings you to the cliff top sensation that is Shunyata. Villas in a whiter shade of pale keep watch over Lombok and Nusa Penida, whilst the resident goats and ducks monitor your progress up and down the superb 30+ metre infinity pool. The service from all the staff is first class and barely disturbs your train of thought, which in any case came off the normal rails hours ago, and now has you simply relecting on how good life can be. This level of experience does not come cheap, certainly in Bali terms, but if you see sense in investing in yourself then Shunyata is a banker.

This place is honestly paradise, do yourself a favour and treat yourself to this serene slice of heaven. The views are absolutely incredible as are the breathtaking villas that have every amenity you could want including private pool and amazing outdoor shower and huge bathtub. The food is also excellent, we are both vegan and enjoyed many delicious meals during our 3 night stay. The outdoor massage experience is also divine, you can hear the sounds of the ocean and i honestly drifted into some sort of transcendent state at times, this place is truly magical and brought me back to myself.

We stayed here for two nights and couldn't recommend this place more. It's so tranquil and quiet with the most beautiful surroundings and views of the ocean (and Nusa Penida!) The interior is stunning and the whole experience of staying here was so relaxing. The restaurant served a good variety of food and everything was delicious. Would definitely recommend the Balinese massage while you're here too!
