Even though we only live about 15 minutes away, we have been going to Strawberry Park's Halloween weekend for the last few years! What a blast our whole family has! They have the most amaxing haunted house for kids and adults! The trick-or-treating on Saturday night is such a blast and even though it's for less than an hour, the... More

My family has been making trips to Strawberry Park since I was twelve years old. Coming from a working class family, camping had become our vacation of choice. I had come to dread our families treks from one campground to another. State to state. When my parents found Strawberry Park, I had come to love camping. I remember vividly, waking... More

We have a seasonal site at strawberry park and have the comforts of home in our 5th wheel camper, while maintaining a relaxed, fun filled time for our entire family. With both a teenage boy and a younger girl, there's something for everyone. We enjoy all the activities and especially like meting up with our summer friends as well as... More

We have been to the Cajun festival two years in a row and are attending again this year. we have a great time, we have 2 children ages 12 and 4 and both enjoy themselves. we go with our family: aunts, uncles grandparents and the staff always gets us in sites next to each other. Everyone is helpful and friendly.... More

Strawberry Park has turned out to be a wonderful place to stay for our family. We started going on a weekly basis in 1992 with our 3 girls who were 4, 6 and 7 at that time. We had a wonderful week that first year and contined to camp for 2-4 weeks every summer until we decided to be owners... More

My family loves Strawberry Park so much we became owners several years ago. However, management's built many more sites in the last 2 years without adding the extra pools they are contractually obligated to build, as per the prospectus. AS such, the pools are way too overcrowded and are no longer relaxing and at times dangerous for the kids who... More

I had heard about this campground for years but never went. Finally went last year for the first time with my kids and nieces and NOTHING compares to Strawberry Park. There is just SO MUCH for the kids to do, that we literally found it difficult to find time to eat! We've gone to other campgrounds since and were disappointed.... More

While I was relaxing under my awning at Strawberry Park and surfing the web on my vacation in late Aug, I started to read some of the reviews other campers were writing about the park. While I know everyone has different tastes and values on camping, and with some of the negative reviews, Strawberry Park does boast about receiving the... More

Strawberry Park may advertise that they allow pets, but they are certainly not PET FRIENDLY. Your pet is confined to your campsite - no walking of pets around the campground is permitted. While this may be OK for some smaller breeds, my super-friendly Golden Retriever needs her exercise. This is the first campground we've ever been to that we have... More

It is true that our pet policy is such that while we do not permit dogs to be walked around throughout the campground, this rule is the very first item noted on our rules and regulations page. Most guests are pleased with this policy, as it not only elimates the risk of stepping in something that was not picked up,... More
