This was the last stop of our 2 week honeymoon and the hotel is exactly what we needed. It feels very secluded located amongst the rice fields and lush jungle. The staff was so helpful and always smiling. Kudos to the chef for great food as given the location we ate all of our meals in their restaurant. We rented one of the private villas and it was an amazing room. The private pool and patio made it great for relaxing in privacy. Beautiful canopy bed and outdoor bathroom. Areas for improvement: The area was undergoing some construction of nearby properties that interrupted our trip on multiple days. It was unfortunate that we had spent the money on a secluded private villa that had construction workers on the other side of the wall hammering at 7 am. We contacted the manager who had asked the neighboring property to respect the guest, but unfortunately they didn't oblige. Wifi is not very strong and only available in the lobby. This wasn't a big issue as it allowed us to unplug. Just was a pain when we wanted to check in with family, but the lobby is a quick 100 feet walk and we just checked in when we were eating our meals.…

My husband surprised me with a trip to this resort to celebrate my birthday....BEST GIFT EVER!! I had an absolutely WONDERFUL and the most MEMORABLE experience of my life!! The staff specifically Erika & Dayu made sure that our needs were met and we didn't need or want for anything. The room & bathroom were beautifully decorated upon my arrival. Dinner was delicious and we had a specially prepared candlelit meal for just us. We also stayed in a private villa that was spectacular. The shuttle service into town was very convenient & professional. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a memorable experience!!

Our stay was absolutely incredible! My friend had a birthday and The Alena resort arranged a cmall cake and an evening bed decoration along with flower bouquet from the resort manager! It was unexpected and memorable. We loved literally everything about the hotel. All staff knew us by names and knew our preferences. They have shuttle to the city that we used a few times. We adore that this hotel is absolutely eco friendly and i have not seen even a single plastic thing there! Stone shampoo and lotion bottles, wooden accessories, glass water bottles. It was so simple and increadible. I couldn't stop taking photos all over the place! We loved the feeling of being there...like at home. They also offer afternoon tea and it was grea addition to our stay. We will definitely be back once again and I will recommend this resort to all of my friends! My husband and I had such an amazing experience with AlenA! We booked this trip for our honeymoon and they Exceeded our expectations! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The hotel manager really made booking the tours and excursions so easy. The staff were all beyond amazing and so sweet. One person definitely stands out and he was our driver Gusti Nadi! Gusti made our honeymoon So amazing. We booked a full day tour and he took us to all the best places! One moment that was so sweet is when we went to the holy water temple he wanted us to take a photo under a sprit name Barong, and we told him it’s okay we don’t need to but he said it’s not just for the photo and he would explain after. So we took the photo with traditional Balinese pose and he explained that he wanted us to take a photo under him because he wanted Barong to bless our marriage.
