The hotel is a converted mansion with a more contemporary extension attached built alongside. Its all pale blues and whites and greys - cool and classic.

Good hotel but the new block of bedrooms called Junior suites are disappointing compared to the more traditional rooms in the older part of the hotel. The bed is on a mezzanine platform accessed by very strange stairs which are, in my opinion, rather dangerous....More

Hello Jan. The hotel is not far from the harbour, I'd say it's about 5-10 mins depending on your pace...an it's not on a hill, the road it's on is elevated in comparison to the harbour, but it is not steep...
