We had our honeymoon at Robinson Club Maldives. Long before going there, I have spent days on tripadvisor reading all the pros and cons about the resorts in Maldives. The reason that I chose Robinson Club was that it was a quite new resort, with full board included at the price. Later, I never regretted about chosing this resort. After...

Stayed for a week in June. No rain which is apparently lucky for time of year. Very hot. Travellers should be aware that this hotel is far from male and involves a flight then a boat after you arrive in male. Meals are buffet style most of the time except gala night. Says drinks included with meals but sometimes waiters...

We booked online and paid $500 a night for the garden view then upgraded to $1100 a night for the ocean villa. Positives are the food is awesome, unlimited beer and wine at meals, staff are great and of course the island is paradise. The pool area was very nice as well. The things that I felt really turned me...

We hoped to be fascinated from maldives itself since this was our first time but this one week was undescribable. The island is like heaven on earth. The place is blended to the natural surroundings. You think the facilities are built right into the trees. You feel like you are on an island rather than a holiday resort. We were...

I spent a lot of time researching resorts in the Maldives. It's such an expensive journey I wanted to ensure we were getting as much bang for our buck. The most important criteria for us was an awesome house reef and affordable over water bungalow. We were traveling with an 11 month old so it was important to be able...

Secondly I want to say about magnificent quality of service. It was more than we could even expect! During our long way from the airport to island...

We just loved this place! The staff is friendly and international (though mostly German) and the atmosphere is very relaxed. There are activities following the evening buffet but it is personal choice to participate. An outside lounge area is perfect for chilling out during the day or star gazing at night. We also loved the sunset lounge for sundowner drinks....

We were to Maldives end of March and beginning of April 2011. We spent two weeks at the club robinson in a beach villa. A good place especially for couples, singles, not for families with children, there were no small children. So quiet and calm. Wonderful coral reef located only 100 meters from the beach. We saw a big fish...

Getting down to the southern atoll of Gaafu-Alifu is rather a long journey but belive me well worth it! I cannot rate this resort highly enough. As Australians we were unaware that Robinson Clubs are German, but they went out of their way to make us feel at home. And if you are near obsessive compulsive about cleanliness, service and...

This was our 12th trip to the Maldives and the best so far. This island just ticked all the boxes for us. We stayed for 14 nights from Jan 9th in a Garden Villa and flew Thomson Premium. All went without a hitch, we landed at Male and were immediately escorted by a Robinson rep to a private air-conditioned lounge...
