Lots of relaxing activities onsite and nearby. Heated indoor/outdoor pools. Indoor hot tub. Sauna and steam room. Spa. Complementary cruising bikes. Mini golf next-door. On-site restaurant/bar with outdoor seating. Fire pits. Marina. Lobster roll shack next door. Local shuttle service on demand. Historic houses/sites, golf course, lighthouses, small town all nearby. Many different room/view options available. Main yellow building with views of water/marina/restaurant/pool/parking lot - and two historic mansions just across the road with views of garden/street/parking lot/marina & water in distance. Some rooms have balconies/verandas/wood or faux fireplaces. So if any of these things matter to you it’s worth doing some research. We stayed in one of the beautifully restored mansions called Three Stories which had lovely rooms with character and an overall bed & breakfast feel. Some rooms are on ground floor so privacy/views could be an issue. Views from top-front are expansive but do look over the road and through electrical wires/parking lot before you see the water, so if marina/water view is your priority the main building may be better. Road directly in front of mansion isn’t busy but you do hear cars go by. Service/hospitality ranged from friendly, helpful, and accommodating to amateur and off-putting. Overall a good getaway spot.

Hotel's Favorite
Loved our recent stay! This was our real first outing since February and we were anxious about staying at a hotel and being somewhat around people in general. From check in, to room, to spa, to restaurant—- Saybrook Point Inn was exceptional! Room and view was Beautiful! It made for a really relaxing and perfect getaway. We stayed two nights I a Luxury water view King room. It even had a jacuzzi which was a fun perk! Highly recommend. Be sure to make reservations for FreshSalt for dinner. We did and we were glad!

My boyfriend and I stayed here a couple weeks ago for 3 nights. I booked a standard room and couldn't believe the size of it! Totally unexpected. Even had a small balcony. No view but not that I expected one. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows omg! I wanted to take them home with me. The place was beautiful. Very classy. Loved dining by the marina and the food was excellent! Pool was nice as well. All employees were amazing and very friendly. If you want a massage book it before you go!! I planned on getting one and looked forward to it for weeks only to find out they had no availability left for the days I was there.

I was there for one night, heading south from Maine. I arrived late and was able to self-park close to the lobby which was helpful. Check-in was okay, service was pretty indifferent. My room in the main building was okay, clean but not updated recently. Bed was comfortable, A/C loud, and bathroom was configured awkwardly. Housekeeping staff was very pleasant. I needed to work and the WiFi wasn't good so I had to leave early the next day. Didn't get to enjoy the restaurant or other amenities nearby which may have improved my rating.

Dear Lisa, We appreciate you staying with us and taking the time to share your thoughts. It's great to know that our easily accessible parking and attention to cleanliness impressed you. We're also glad you found the beds comfortable. However, we apologize for any issues with the AC and WiFi as well as for any disappointment with the bathroom. We'll pass your comments along to our staff for further review, and we hope you'll consider staying with us again during your next trip. John Lombardo, General Manager

The hotel is in a great location within a short distance from numerous beaches and restaurants. The outdoor pool was heated to a very comfortable temperature. We were happy to see that almost all guests adhered to mask rules. Our room was large and the shower pressure was lovely. We had an issue with the description of the view from the room. When our concern was brought to the GM, he exceeded our expectations regarding a response. I recommend this hotel for couples or friends getaways.
