My daughter and I spent an overnight at this wonderful B&B. We stayed in the carriage house which has 4 or 5 different rooms. Each have separate names of authors and done so very tastefully. My daughter had the Louisa May Alcott and I had...More
We loved our most recent stay at the Old Mystic Inn. Our room was beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was outstanding and the snacks are always fresh baked and irresistible.

Old Mystic Inn was a great choice. The food was great and people were nice. The rooms were nicely done and in a separate building than the main house which was convenient.
Overall a great stay, we will definitely be back!

The Thoreau as it is located off the Keeping Room and near the kitchen and dining room is usually quiet. The Main Inn sits up close to the road so perhaps road traffic could be an issue if you are lite sleepers. Most of my guests have enjoyed staying in the Thoreau Room except for the fact of the road traffic. The Keeping room does not really gather much guests as all Tv's are located in the guest rooms. We look forward to you staying with us sometime soon. Kind Regards, Michael
