We stayed at this lovely inn while visiting friends in the area, as well as Mystic Seaport. The rooms are themed for a particular New England author, since the historic building was originally a bookstore. The rooms are charming and beautifully maintained, as are the grounds.

Would the Thoreau room be in a noisy area of the inn because it is close to kitchen or common room?
The Thoreau as it is located off the Keeping Room and near the kitchen and dining room is usually quiet. The Main Inn sits up close to the road so perhaps road traffic could be an issue if you are lite sleepers. Most of my guests have enjoyed staying in the Thoreau Room except for the fact of the road traffic. The Keeping room does not really gather much guests as all Tv's are located in the guest rooms. We look forward to you staying with us sometime soon. Kind Regards, Michael

Do you have a honeymoon suites available, and, if so, does it have a jacuzzi? My daughter is getting married July 12, 2015 and I am looking for the ideal honeymoon suite for her and her new husband for one night.
"Not far from Foxwoods and a lot cheaper"
"Love the carriage house."
"If you want old and historic, stay in the main house. If you want a little more modern and private, w larger room, stay in the back house"
"Rooms are bright and spacious."
"We viewed many of the rooms, all were absolutely beautiful."
