Location in the middle of nowhere, but very charming hotel. Near beach. Mother and two sons do everything they can to make you feel at home. Excellent home made bread, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Recommandated if you want a quiet stay.

I can recommend this place for all who want a romantic and peaceful holiday. Great view of the ocean (from some of the rooms) and just a few hundred yards from the beach. Perfect hosts and delicious home made food make this a very enjoyable holiday resort.

Panos, mama Maria and Stelios run a very nice and home like hotel with a great breakfast (thanks for the egg and bacon, Maria!) that will keep you going till late afternoon. Surrondings invite to walks in a beautiful scenery. Often you just sit in the garden enjoying pleasant music and talking to other guests. We stayed for two weeks this year and will certainly be back next year. There are - not many - but a few good restaurants around. A visit to the very simple but oh so Greek "Souvlaki Man" and his little family run grill is a must - probably the best souvlaki we have had ever, and prices invite a good tip... Vagia is a quiet place with a lot of nice locals that will make you feel much welcome. We certainly like it!

We stayed a week at the Vagia hotel and could not have enjoyed it more. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The centrepiece of the experience, however, was the floral canopy over the seating area. This added a special touch of magic to which the photographs do not do justice. The other thing I would say is the breakfasts are well worth the price, just be sure to realise they are an extra. Overall a wonderful hotel that I would go back to and recommend you do too!

The jewel of Aegina, a delicious hotel in a quiet surrounding close to the beach, held by the most lovely family on the island. Breakfast is incredible, home cooked. Panayotis is an ideal host to all.

We arrived a bit early and breakfast was still being served. I asked if we might be able to have breakfast and the owners sat us at one of the lovely garden tables and proceeded to give us dish after dish of delicious local delights, omelettes, cheese pies, tomatoes, fruit, pastries and best of all... These were homemade. I would value the breakfast at more than 10 euros. It was unbelievably delicious! From the romantic patio we could watch the sea from the top, so as soon as we settled in our rooms which also had sea view we were swimming at the near beach. The owners and staff are charming, helpful and welcoming. Notis not only gave us details on what to do on the island, where to eat etc... One of the days he took us to a monastery up the hill! The rooms are comfortable
