We loved the convenience of this affordable hotel because is it right in between both Casinos and it serves breakfast so we didn't have to keep traveling all around town to have breakfast each day. I would highly recommend.

Was quite underwhelmed by this place. It smelled a bit musty in the room, and the breakfast was poorly laid out and unappealing. The service from the girl at the counter was fantastic though, and it was close to restaurants and stores. Just meh, should probably give it two stars, but I’m feeling generous.

If you book this hotel based on its shuttle to the casinos beware. We made appointments with the shuttle for rides to and from hotel. We were told to be at the pickup points 10 minutes prior to pick up times. On the hour from hotel and 20 past at casino. The ride over was fine but cramped. We were at our designated pickup point at 1210 AM as were many others. When the van arrived it was overrun by people that missed earlier pickup. We ended up having to take an Uber. We felt like charging the hotel for the inconvenience and the cost. Another issue was that our room door didn't completely shut. We left for the day assuming that our door was locked. When we came back that night we noticed the door was open. Talk about an uneasy feeling. Luckily we had no valuables in there. I had to force the door shut to make sure it was secure for the night. Not a great feeling.

We stayed at this Choice Hotel for the Barrett-Jackson car auction. We had intended to stay three nights, but, because of family issues, we could only stay one night. We realize that Comfort Inns are an economy hotel First the positive – The location was really convenient to the Mohegan Sun complex where the auction was held. There's plenty of parking. The room and bathroom were clean. The room was large, king, with a sofa and coffee table, desk and chair, in addition to the bed, night tables, TV, dresser, and luggage bench. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was updated to a degree. As at most Choice Hotels, there is always coffee and tea in the lobby. The staff was friendly. Now the negative – There were no USB ports anywhere in the room. The toilet paper holder was too far back from the toilet. I know this seems nitpicky, but every time I needed the paper, the holder came off the wall. We ended up just putting the toilet paper on the counter. The other odd thing about the bathroom was the exhaust fan. I didn’t think there was one until after my shower. It seems there’s an old fashioned timer behind the door. Another negative, there was no Motor Trend channel or Discovery channel, so between visits to the actual auction at Mohegan Sun, we could not watch what was going on. I realize this is not the real fault of the hotel, since it’s probably a package for which they do not have access, but it was a concern for us. We were hoping to use the hotel shuttle on Friday to get to Mohegan Sun, but the shuttle didn’t run until the afternoon. Since Barrett-Jackson began in the morning, and there were events we wanted to go to at 10am, we couldn’t use the shuttle. I guess most people wanting to go to the casinos on most weekends go in the afternoon or evening. For this weekend, there should have been an early one. The final negative, was the breakfast. Breakfast is served from 6 to 9. In most of the Choice Hotels we’ve stayed in, breakfast is served until 10. I’m a tea drinker. The night we arrived, I had a cup of decaf tea because there didn’t seem to be any regular. That wasn’t so much a problem because it was evening. However, in the morning, there was still no regular tea. When I asked the attendant, I was told that it hadn’t come in yet but there was decaf and green tea. Really? The hotel was sold out for this weekend because of Barrett-Jackson. You would think someone would order tea before they are totally out of it. Go to the damn supermarket and buy a box of Lipton. A box of 100 bags is under $5. The breakfast itself was a bit disappointing. The “eggs” were a whitish disc with a yellowish circle. I know most hotels use powered eggs, but these didn’t even taste like eggs. The waffle maker was on one side of the room, but the dishes were on the other side of the room. There were no dishes anywhere near the waffle maker. The waffles just about fit on the dish’s edges. When syrup was poured on the waffle, the syrup rolled to the underneath. The waffle had to be cut then moved off the plate to dunk in the syrup. We did tell the receptionist when checking out, and she assured us she would let the manager know.
