I traveled in February for my fiancé’s birthday. Newly renovated room with wood floor's and huge walk in shower with a modern touch decor. The restaurant & bar was and added bonus the bar tender Dorian or shall I say mixologist kept the very unusual beautiful delicious drinks flowing. Our dinner was magnificent, I had the salmon & he had the steak. Front desk aimed to please & checked us in early as it only took us Aprox. 1 hr 1/2 from NY. The Stamford NY comedy club is only about 20 min away. I will be returning soon. Thanks for a great weekend.

I hardly got any sleep for the three nights I was there. The pillows and mattress were very uncomfortable. Lumpy! There wasn't a single comfortable chair either. The furnishings were worn, drab and depressing. It looked and felt like "garage sale" furniture. No real breakfast was available. I booked it for the location. It was a mistake. There are a number of better hotels in the area at around the same price or less. I paid an average of $370 a night not including taxes.

We stayed in room 228 and it was close to elevator and also close to the lobby. Noise level was horrendous with the lobby blasting music past 11 pm, foot traffic to the elevator, paper thin walls that literally allow people to talk as if they are in the same room as you, constant water dripping sound which will drive you nuts. If you're a light sleeper, please avoid this hotel. I consider myself someone who can tolerate low to medium level of noise and was still kept awake by the noise level. For this reason, I will not be returning to this hotel nor will I be able to recommend it to anyone else.

I am starting to question the validity of Trip Advisor's reviews. This hotel was rated 4.5! Noooo waaay!!!! At most, it is a 3. It is located on a main road. It backs up to train tracks. This is certainly an undesirable location. I do do not elevators. I had to walk the length of th parking lot to be able to take the stairs inside. How is it possible that a hotel does not have stair access indoors? The rugs are shabby; the woodwork is nicked. Hopefully, the renovation that will take place later this month, will energize this place. On a plus note, the young waiter in the hotel restaurant was so accomodating. We appreciated the biscotti and lemoncello.

Dear the909gardener, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay, and we appreciate your honest insights. We understand that the location of your room and the absence of indoor stairs may have impacted your experience. The safety of our guests is our top priority, and that is why our stairs are strategically placed at the end of the hotel. However, we also recognize that guest preferences vary, and we are committed to making accommodations that better suit your needs in the future. We have plans for a complete renovation scheduled for next week into 2024. During this renovation, we will be replacing all the furniture, including the mattresses and pillows, to enhance the overall comfort of our rooms and common areas. The improvements will address concerns such as shabby rugs and nicked woodwork, aiming to provide a more inviting and comfortable atmosphere for our guests. We hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to exceed your expectations once these renovations are complete. We're thrilled to hear that you had a positive experience with our restaurant staff and enjoyed the biscotti and lemoncello. Our team is dedicated to providing excellent service, and we are delighted that you felt well taken care of in that aspect. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience you encountered, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future to showcase the positive changes we are making. Warm regards, Maria Nunez General Manager

Stayed 2 nights for a wedding and it was extremely unpleasant. Found the staff to be nice to your face but completely not accommodating. The beds and pillows are the worst I’ve ever had to use at a hotel. This hotel give you the bare minimum and would definitely not recommend it. My husband left his glasses there and when we called to see if they had then the front desk associate was incredibly rude. She wouldn’t check if this was still there and told us she’d call us back but didn’t even ask our name.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Zero Degrees. This was my second stay at this hotel and it was just as good as the first. The staff are friendly, the location is convenient and the room was spacious and clean. The fitness center is also clean and well maintained and the restaurant is excellent. What more could you ask for?

We are on a long road trip and just needed a place to stop so we selected this hotel because it was close and had good reviews. We checked in around 11:30pm just to sleep a few hours. It served its purpose for just sleeping. The positive, the staff were very pleasant and friendly. However, if I am being honest, there was a mouse running around the lobby, the hallways smelled and had very wrinkled carpet (trip hazard), the rooms look like they have been refreshed but smell incredibly musty and sheets were itchy. It was wasn’t the worst I have seen, but if we had to stay longer than we did, I would select a different hotel.

This hotel pretends to be upscale however they are unable to pull it off. A 3 story hotel in a good neighborhood does not need elevators that must be a swiped to only go to your floor. I was stuck in the elevator twice. There is no breakfast which is a corner cutting measure. The bar was booked for private parties the entire time we were there. The hotel is next to active train tracks. All in all I would avoid staying at this overpriced so so hotel. I complained about the elevators and was told that I should be happy about them even though I was trapped in the elevator after following the directions. I will never stay there again.

If you like loud guests at midnight that you can hear all the way down the hallway, paper thin walls, hearing footstep in the room above you and the Amtrak train shaking the building then this is the hotel for you! At $300+ a night we could have slept better in our car

Dear Daniel, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback regarding your recent stay at our hotel. We appreciate your comments and apologize for the disturbances you experienced during your visit. We understand your frustration with the noise from other guests and the train, and we genuinely empathize with your discomfort. While we do our best to maintain a peaceful environment for all guests, the behavior of other guests can be challenging to control fully. We will, however, continue to address this issue with our staff and explore additional ways to enhance the overall guest experience. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we are committed to making your future visits more enjoyable. We hope you will consider staying with us again, and we will make every effort to provide you with a quieter and more restful experience. Thank you for choosing our hotel, and we look forward to the opportunity to serve you better in the future. Sincerely, Maria Nunez General Manager

What a lovely respite from our 15 hour drive in the rain. Easy on the eye; comfortable atmosphere; really comfy bed. Our only complaint is that we came in late and left early the next morning. Would have enjoyed the rooftop terrace and other amenities.
