I was traveling on business in the area, checking in on a Monday evening (after working a full day) and checking out Thursday morning. Turned out that the job took longer than planned and I'd have to come back the following Sunday through Tuesday and I was only too happy to stay here again based on my 100% great experience the first week. My room was clean, very comfortable and stylish. My bathroom very spacious and there was plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the shower. I forgot a drawer full of clothing and other odds and ends, but housekeeping bagged it up and had it waiting for me when I returned. The front desk staff was to a person attentive, helpful, and cheerful The attached restaurant, Siena, is fantastic ... and I've been to Italy and eaten in Siena. Authentic Italian, not red gravy, and definitely the best hotel restaurant I've ever eaten at. First night I ate there out of inertia, but came back every night I stayed and was not disappointed. I'm almost hoping I have to travel back to area on business so I can stay here again. …
We thought this hotel was great for an overnight. Customer service was great- friendly helpful staff at the front desk. Shower was amazing, bed was comfortable. Had a drink at the restaurant and it was great, friendly bartenders. Good location also.
Whoever gives this hotel anything more than one star has to have an investment in it. This rates as the second worst hotel we ever stayed at. The worst hotel was a choice privileges hotel in Texarkana. It's so retro that the mattress and pillows are from WWII era. The bedside tables were metal. Clanked every time you put something on them. We're a couple and had to ask for 2 hand towels every day we were there. They ran out of facial tissues and we were told the order hadn't come in yet. The "hot" water in the beverage area was luke warm. Had to go to the gym to get "hot" water. They ran out of tea bags. Then there were the nightly trains blowing their horns. Fortunately, our room faced the street and not the train tracks. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that the K-cups in the room were very good.…
Excellent bar and restaurant on site. Alex was our server and really went out of his way to provide us with great service and recommendations for the food. We love the salmon, calamari, focaccia bread and the specialty drinks. We were also able to meet the manager Brandon, who is very pleasant. The ladies at the front desk were always very nice and the housekeeping staff was always very polite in the hallways. Please know if you are walking on the backside a Hotel the train can get noisy.
I stay at Hotel Zero a few times a year - I'm an out-of-state employee and this hotel is very close to my building. Everyone I've ever met working at this hotel is so kind and helpful. Also, the restaurant here is fantastic! The bartenders craft the most amazing drinks and the food is out of this world. Whomever made my spaghetti carbonara on Tuesday night (11/29) is my new best friend :-)
Loved the hotel, clean, awesome gym, and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The restaurant and outdoor seating was awesome too will stay again every-time I’m in town to see the family !
Very clean property that provides exceptional service. I have stayed at this property on several occasions and never been disappointed. Nice location and not far from dining options in sono. Also Stamford is a 10 minute drive with many other options to choose
We were a large wedding party, and I was very disatified with the accomodations at Hotel Zero. This particularly relates to the attached restaurant Siena who was extremely difficult in working with us in trying to create pre and post wedding events for our guests. The event manager was dishonest about costs and facility arrangements so we had to make plans on our own. We attempted to gather in the public lobby to sit, talk and laugh and were asked to leave.
We stayed her for a wedding on 8/27. There were 3 wedding groups staying at the hotel and we didn’t here anyone. The lobby area is great for gathering and the hotel staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The bed was comfortable and our room was very clean. The rugs in the hallway are worn, but I understand there will be a renovation over the winter.
Hotel is great location and Siena restaurant is excellent. Hotel is run down and in desperate need of Reno. Shaby stained hallways, Grimy grout in bathrooms, chipped and worn paint in rooms and worn and stained furniture.
