We stayed in the Lincoln Suite with western views of the back yard, which was very pleasant. The room was cozy and comfortable. The house has many rooms downstairs where you can read, browse the library, or take in the stained-glass windows. The highlight of our stay were our breakfasts: orange French toast with bacon and an omelette with fresh vegetables. Very delicious. Adam and Kristen are friendly and helpful.

We booked at Manor House 2 years ago when we had bought tickets to a concert at Infinity music hall and then the pandemic happened, the concert was postponed 3 or 4 times and each time Kristen and Adam were so gracious in moving our reservation. Finally we were able to go 9/26/21 and stayed over. I had not looked at any pictures online prior to going, so when we got there it was a lovely surprise to see the beautiful estate and grounds. The common areas were roomy, beautifully decorated and sooo comfortable to relax in. Kristen and Adam were perfect hosts, making us feel welcome and providing helpful information about Norfolk restaurants, the music hall and even the walking path to take from the Inn to the concert venue. Our rooms were spotless and also decorated beautifully, amenities like bottled water and personal items in the bathroom, along with big white fluffy towels were present. Our breakfast the next morning was delicious and Kristen and Adam were so pleasant to converse with. I would give this Inn beyond excellent ratings if I could. Thank you Kristen and Adam for providing us with a wonderful stay at your exquisite Inn.

We loved our anniversary weekend at Manor House Inn! We stayed in the Victorian Suite which was a perfect romantic getaway with its large jacuzzi tub and comfortable king bed. Adam was an excellent host, and the breakfasts were delicious. We felt very safe during our first overnight stay in the covid-era. We hope to return!

This is the most authentically historic inn we have stayed at. Stained glass windows and glazed English tiles on the dining room fireplace. We stayed in the Spofford, big four poster bed, leather chairs, and our own deck - well worth the upgrade to have our own outdoor space. We ate dinner by candlelight both nights! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had THE fluffiest towels ever. Breakfast was delicious both days and the owners were very nice. Due to to COVID we weren't able to interact with the owners and other guests as we normally would, but we appreciate all the precautions taken. The pictures online don't really do it justice, it's even prettier in person. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

The Victorian suite is a gem. The king size bed is so comfortable. The bed has 6 Big comfy pillows. The owner’s are super friendly and knowledgeable of their community, as well as the surrounding area, which was very helpful to us. We stopped at 3 wineries and had sandwiches from the country store. Delicious breakfast! No TV Portable AC WiFi worked perfectly Lots of Chairs to sit and relax Super quite area Very safe neighborhood Fresh farm produce and products from neighboring towns Wine country trail
