A couples getaway weekend that was only enhanced by our stay at the Blackberry River Inn. T.W. was a gracious and attentive host making quick dinner reservations upon our late arrival. Breakfast was fabulous and the inn is a gem. We'll be back!

We stayed at BRI for one snowy night on March 2, 2018. We were seeing Pat Metheny & Steve Swallow at the nearby Infinity Music Hall that eve. Got to BRI at 4pm and were greeted by the warm & friendly TW and his old lady Babu (his German Shepard dog!). Check in was a quick

Delighted you enjoyed your stay so much! As you know, we are minutes drive away from Infinity Hall (and that is a mere 2 doors down from Wood Creek Bar & Grill). Both great assets for Norfolk! Thanks so much for your review! Tabu and I look forward to welcoming you back! T.W. Innkeeper and Tabu, Official Greeter and My Shadow

We love old New England style Inns. When I search for Inns with a fireplace in the rooms the Blackberry River Inn came up. I'm so glad it did. The beauty of the Inn and special touches the Inn Keeper did for us were outstanding. The best part was we were the only people staying

Thanks so much! Really glad you enjoyed your stay!! Yes, we have wood burning fireplaces in The Cottage, M2 suite and both deluxe rooms (M3 and M4) in the main house, and then for everyone's enjoyment the largest fireplace in the library of the main house. Thank you again! T.W. Innkeeper

Upon arriving, we were greeted by our host, TW. He explained things to us and brought us to our room. Our room was in the main house and had a fireplace and private bath. The room itself was a little shabby, but this a B&B in Norfolk, not a Hilton in NYC. Everything,

Thanks so much for your review! So glad you enjoyed your stay!! Yes, this main house was built in 1763 and it does have some wear and tear, to be honest. Still, the charm and character are certainly well and in good shape. Thanks again very much! T.W. Innkeeper

The rooms were small and there was not enough space to set all of our luggage, but to their credit they managed to squeeze a fridge and microwave in the room. Since we only stayed for one night it didn’t make sense to unload everything, put it in drawers, then re-load it so we

Thank you for your review and your comments! Some of the Carriage House rooms are on the small side. It's a `130-year old building, so there aren't always plugs where you want them. However, all our rooms and suites have charging stations for all your devices including smart USB plugs. The deluxe rooms in the main house and obviously the suites and the Cottage are very large. Glad you enjoyed our breakfasts! Always delighted to know you enjoyed our service. Thank you again for your review! T.W. Innkeeper
