My husband and I stayed for two nights in Mrs. Mead's Room #7. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean and cozy. All of the rooms have their own private bath. Jean Marie and Dean are excellent hosts. The breakfast is amazing! The coffee is the best I have ever tasted. While my husband spent the day at...

My wife and I and another couple, friends of ours, stayed in two rooms for two nights while we were in Norfolk to curl. Our Innkeepers, Dean and Jean provided savory breakfasts, friendly conversation, and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. Our room was immaculate, and very decorously furnished. We slept soundly on a firm, comfortable mattress. It was...

We had received our night here from our teenage children as a gift. Dean and Jean Marie not only graciously rescheduled our overnight when the original date was too snowy for us to travel, they also upgraded our room upon arrival. The room was both comfortable and charming. We found Dean to be a helpful guy- he led us to...

Everything was top-notch about our recent visit: From Innkeeper Dean's genuinely warm greeting, to the coffee pot that was always on, to the ultra clean and comfortable rooms, to the cozy "real" wood burning fireplace in the common rooms, to the chocolates that are strategically placed throughout, etc,. etc. An added benefit is the local piped water which puts bottled...

Mountain View Inn was truly everything we could have asked for plus more for a fun and restful get away weekend.. The four poster bed was the most comfortable bed we ever slept in. The breakfast was delicious. The style of this Inn was unique and beautiful. The hosts Mr. & Mrs. Johnson went above and beyond to make our...

We stayed overnight at the Mountain View Inn on our way between Boston and Burlington, Vermont during a New England road trip and it was a great choice. Innkeeper Dean was the perfect host, so friendly and helpful. We were greeted with welcome glass of hot spiced apple cider and cookies and were upgraded to a lovely suite of rooms....

We just spent one night here for a quick getaway for my fiancé's birthday weekend. While it was short, we got to experience the hospitality of Dean and the beauty of the Inn. Our room, Felix's Room, was huge and decorated perfectly, with a very comfortable 4 post bed and a vintage bathroom with a claw foot tub. The Inn...

Having just spent the weekend at the lovely Mountain View Inn, I have nothing but superlatives for Dean, Jean, and their spectacular establishment. I would highly recommend the Mountain View if you're staying in the Norfolk area. The rooms were unique and comfortable in the extreme, with such extras as a reading porch, a chaise lounge, a writing room, etc....

we had the most amazing visit at the Mountain View in this weekend. Dean, the innkeeper, provided wonderful accommodations as well as an entertaining and delicious breakfast for us this morning. Miss Noelle, the miniature poodle, was adorable and as cute as a button. We are looking forward to a return visit. The close proximity to the infinity music hall...

What a wonderful, beautiful Inn! We've been to other B and B's on the New England shoreline, but we wanted to visit the Berkshire region in NW Connecticut for a peaceful getaway. Our hosts were very friendly and knew all the history of this gorgeous Bed and Breakfast. Extremely quiet and comfy. The bed was covered with beautifully soft linens....
