This was our third visit and we hope to make it back up in the fall. Great location in a beautiful corner of Connecticut. The breakfasts are outstanding. The innkeeper is friendly and helpful. We love the architectural integrity of the property.

I attended a private luncheon ay the Mountain View Inn. I was also fortunate enough to be escorted through the circa 1870 Victorian style home aka B&B. It was delightful to meet the innkeepers. Even more so to talk with them about the history of the house. Dean (owner) is also the chef. He prepared a scrumptious, decadent brunch. His... More

After a long hike, my boyfriend and I decided to try out the Inn for a relaxing night. The Inn is beautiful and has a lovely 1900s charm in each of the rooms. We stayed in the Wildwood Room which is cozy and has a private bath across the hall. Dean and his wife are so welcoming and friendly ,and gave... More

Mountain View Inn is a wonderful retreat. Beautifully furnished, quiet, comfortable. It provides a great location for exploring Norfolk and the surrounding towns in the green rolling hills of NW Connecticut. I enjoyed the hospitality and appreciated the travel tips.

Dean and his wife, Jean Marie, (the owners of the Inn) made my weekend stay a truly memorable experience. After my original travel plans at another venue were unexpectedly cancelled, I called Dean to ask if there was a room available at the Inn. He wholeheartedly and enthusiastically responded with a welcoming yes. I checked into the Inn a few... More

My wife and I had a great stay at Mountain View Inn. We were going to Abbey of Regina Laudis in Bethlehem, CT and stayed at Mountain View for the weekend. Dean was a wonderful host and pointed us to the Infinity Hall for a nice dinner. We will be back to visit again.

Roomful of Blues at the Infinity Music Hall was fabulous, but staying at the Inn made the weekend even better. Dean and his wife are hospitable and attentive. Breakfast was a gourmet treat and included a fascinating conversation about the history of the Inn from Dean. The Inn's exceptionally well appointed interior was a pleasure as were Dean's own canvases... More

Visited last weekend for my birthday. The inn is beautiful and full of history. Our room was gorgeously decorated and comfortable. There was a canopy bed, full bathroom, unique antique furniture, and even a fainting couch! We had a lovely breakfast and enjoyed meeting all of the other guests. The best part was our conversation with the hosts. They knew... More

Dean is one of the most hospitable hosts I've ever met. He makes you feel like your are home. The breakfasts are always great and consistent. Dean is very knowledgeable and tells a good history of the Inn at breakfast. A must stay B&B.

Our hosts were very welcoming and attentive with great conversation and the food was excellent. It was a beautiful snowy night in the lovely town of Norfolk and we couldn't have asked for better accommodations. We stayed in the Erastus room which was very cozy and clean as was the rest of the Inn. We'll definitely be back and would... More
